Really delicious meal I had the chicken as a main and scallops as a starter. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. Service very good. I'd say good value for money as far s lakes prices go. Book online in advance.

We were only in Carlisle for approximately 2 hours having travelled on the Midland Pullman. I had booked the restaurant in advance and was very pleased with our choice. There was a cosy feeling to the restaurant and an excellent and varied menu. We both went for the home made vegetable soup and the salmon in a lemon sauce with chips and vegetables. Very tasty and filling. We could not manage a sweet. If I lived local to the restaurant I would re-visit. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. E very good experience and fair value for money.

A full restaurant mid week in October tells a story! Lovely cosy vibe great service and most importantly delicious food. Had a great evening and would recommend for anyone staying in Grasmere.

We had another lovely meal at the Pheasant pub, one of the many we have had over many years. No doubt we will have many more.

We had 2 very enjoyable meals while on holiday in Keswick. The menu had a good choice and the food was very well prepared, good size portions. Staff were very attentive and friendly. You do need to book which we did online.

Grants of Castlegate is a spectacular restaurant. The service is impeccable, the food exquisite, the service second to none and the atmosphere warming. For any occasion whether dinner or afternoon tea Grant's is the place to go. We will be going back.

Very enjoyable ealy evening meal in relaxing atmosphere. Good quality food both starter and main course. Didnt have dessert as nothing I fancied. Good service with pleasant attentive staff. Would certainly dine there again.

Grant's of Castlegate is a spectacular restaurant. The service is impeccable, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is warming. For a special occasion or just for Afternoon Tea, this is the place to go.

La Mezzaluna has a fab atmosphere. Menu is extensive and prices are good. Service is always spot-on and you don't ever feel rushed! Well done La Mezzaluna!
