La Mezzaluna – CarlisleSunday Roast was amazing! Excellent value for money, fabulous portion and absolutely delicious. We all loved it. Only one managed a chocolate pudding which was also delicious. Staff were warm & friendly and it was very busy but nothing was too much trouble. Loved it

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeFantastic
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeFantastic. Whole experience at Lewis's was wonderful. The staff, atmosphere, decor and of course, the food. I had the tofu and my partner had the pork belly. Both excellent. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we are in Grasmere.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereApril 2023 We attended for a meal to celebrate my aunty’s 80th birthday. We were are party of 6 ladies. Unfortunately, although only ordering main courses, our food still hadn’t arrived after 2 hours. When we enquired about where the food was we were told it was being plated…..however still no food 20 minutes later. We ended up leaving and were verbally abused by the manager. The young girl serving us was the only positive experience from the whole evening: she was friendly and worked really hard. We ended up having a Macdonalds: not the greatest end for an 80th birthday celebration but at least we ate!
General Burgoyne – UlverstonExceptional dining and service! We highly recommend!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe had an amazing meal at the pheasant inn the lamb shank was like butter and the venison bourginon

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeMy wife and me come to the Lake District twice a year every year. We stop in Grasmere and have dined out in many places through out the Lake District. Every holiday we spend our last night at Lewis’s Bistro. The food is excellent, the staff very polite, and the price is vey fare. What more do you need. Good food perfect atmosphere and value for money. Then go to Lewis’s in Grasmere you will not be disappointed.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereThe second time we’ve been and had Thai and, once again, it didn’t disappoint. Delicious food, freshly prepared and well recommended.
Kings Arms – UlverstonLovely old country inn. Delightful food and pleasant attentive service. We’ve been going many times and will continue to do so.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeMy wife and I went for a meal accompanied by our Spaniel. The meal itself was excellent and the service was very attentive and we didn't have to wait for service and we're very impressed. Only problem is this pub is 200 miles away from us or we would be in most weekends for food and drinks
