We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Lunesdale Arms. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was excellent . Portion sizes were very generous. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Visited CDJ's at the weekend and had a fantastic experience. Sat outside in the fantastic garden area enjoying the sun and sampling some drinks before the meal. The meal was faultless and the staff simply outstanding. Would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to anyone.

Had a lovely meal for our wedding anniversary. Food was all great and it was hard to pick from the menu as there were a lot of great sounding things. Service was fantastic too.

First class service, food, atmosphere and value. The house red isn't bad either. Not usually a great fan of Italian food but can't wait to go back.

Had a lovely meal for two on Monday 5th May. It was lovely inside . I haven't been for over 20 years as I live about 10 miles away. The Pollo Quattros was amazing. A huge portion and a side dish for free was great value. My partner loved her lasagne but also loved mine when I gave her a taste. Left the restaurant and first thing I said was cant wait to go back again. Maybe try the monkfish next time. Prices were reasonable I thought also.

Love the food at Shepherd’s Rest. We visit regularly! One running theme is lack of staff. They really need to employ some more people.

Excellent food, excellent styling and surroundings. Has been quiet last two occasions we have visited so no score for atmosphere really, but beautiful venue. Service is very clunky however, no real eye contact or follow up for drinks etc once seated. Don't feel like a valued customer.

Excellent food and very friendly, efficient service, with a good selection of beer. The atmosphere, combined with the quality of food and service, meant our lunch with old friends was suitably special and memorable.

Excellent food and service as usual. Plus they've done a very nice job of refurbishing the restaurant with new decoration and new chairs and tables. Well worth a visit.
