Siena – RossendaleMy husband and I went for a lunch. The food was delicious. The service was good. We had the sea bass and stroganoff. Will definitely be back soon.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFood was good for pub food what you'd expect value for money was great coming from a major city you would expect to pay twice as much
Ship Inn – LancasterFood and service was wonderful. A big thank you to all the staff for making our visit special.
Bread and Butter – PrestonGreat service, really friendly, our lunch was tasty and the drinks were fab. Love the atmosphere and decor.
Bees Kitchen and Deli – ChorleyOur second visit in short succession, this time to celebrate a birthday. As before, a quality and interesting Sicilian menu which we greatly enjoyed
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallAbsolutely gorgeous venue so a great start. Service was rather slow as we didn’t have our orders taken for first 10 mins then waited another 10mins before asking where our drinks were. Our drinks arrived two mins before our meal. Food was fantastic although I did find my steak to be quite salty. Again service for drinks is slow for no good reason. I would come again
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenWe had an amazing meal on the 23rd December. The food was absolutely delicious, salmon . Seabass and pasta … staff were lovely and so attentive to all their customers. Returning at the end of January! Thank you
Quattro’s – OrmskirkGreat setting in a lovely building. Food & service great !
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterOutstanding food and service at a very reasonable price. A group of 8 (4 adults, 4 teenagers) attending a football match. We had fish & chips, beef & ale pies, beef burger and chicken burger followed by sticky toffee pudding and apple cheesecake. Food was delicious and staff very attentive. Pie and a pint deal for £10 was a steal. A gem of a place. Not sure whether to shout from rooftops or keep hidden for our next trip.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenThe manager called the day before our visit to advise about the access for my disabled dad - very thoughtful and much appreciated. The staff made us all feel very welcome (including our dogs), and the food was very good. We are new to the area and this was our first visit - we will definitely be back soon.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenAmazing, delicious food as always. Had a 3 course boxing day meal with family. Excellent, friendly and attentive service with a smile as always! Brilliant value for money, for quality, tasty food! Thank you to all the staff at Ribchester Arms!
The Ribchester Arms – PrestonWe popped in for a Sunday Roast just before Christmas and had a great time. Surprisingly it was not busy and we got first class service and a great meal. The location is great because the pub is light and airy and looks over the river.
Wagon and Horses – LancasterWent in Christmas Eve and had tapas. Absolutely beautiful.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenI've eaten at The Traders twice in December and both times the food has been delicious. We received a warm and friendly welcome. Will definitely visit again soon.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnWe booked the table for 8 of us, 2 families as we do every Christmas Eve. We have been following this tradition for many years, but this year we felt a little let down.....no crackers and no breadsticks, little personal service, no parmesan or black pepper offered... when we looked round other tables had these items. I asked a waitress about the lack of crackers and she said they had run out. As all tables are pre booked surely you know how many you will be serving? We just felt a little disappointed. Food was still amazing!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkHad an excellent Christmas day meal, food was first rate , only complaint the portions were too big! smaller plates would have been better , but the staff and food were excellent , many thanks!
