Overall we had an excellent meal in beautiful surroundings and wouldn’t hesitate visiting again or recommending to friends . The starter and main course was amazing but the only reason we didn’t score a 5/5 was we thought the desserts were average. The sticky toffee pudding was very dry. We ordered a starter off the tapas then two steaks . We hadn’t finished the starter , when the steaks arrived . The waitress said that it was all classed as tapas and it came when each dish was ready . ?? We didn’t class a £34 steak as a tapas dish . This would be something to bear in mind when we eat there next time . Overall we spent approx £190 for the two of us with drinks , not a cheap meal but thoroughly enjoyed our experience at CDJ,s.

Great family meal with our fury friend. Atmosphere was very welcoming, staff are a credit to you, and food is great value.

Our local…not been since the change of ownership but happy to say the standards haven’t slipped. The girls were extremely personably smiley and friendly. The place serves superb food at an affordable cost. Only minor criticism is the pictures on the walls in the dining room, not sure about the taste but superb meal out. Best in the area in my opinion.

Booked a table for 3 to end summer hols as back at school wed, when we got to the very small table only 2 settings, ordered garlic bread to come on its own came with starters, not all of had finished and started taking g plates away said can we have 10 mins next thing mains were here never got asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, in all spent £78 and back home in less than a hour, we will not be back.

First time on Saturday evening over the bank holiday weekend. We were one of the last tables to eat and never once felt we were being rushed. We received a complimentary second dish which was a nice touch. Everything was tasty, ambience and atmosphere was fab. Already recommending to friends and will definitely be returning.

Superb meal in a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. We were a party of four and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We’ll certainly be back again.

Food was excellent, but service a little slow. Unfortunately the prices mean that we won't be able to eat here regularly only on special occasions.

Visit for the 1st time last week with the wife. Polite friendly and helpful staff. I'm deaf and the waitress stood where I told her too so I could just about make out what she was saying. Better than just turning to the Mrs as experienced elsewhere. The food was top notch. Freshly cooked and piping hot. We will be going again numerous times. It was a pleasant evening out for us. It's not the cheapest place around but there's the old adage that says 'you get what you pay for. It's not very expensive though. I give the place 5 out of 5.

We had a fantastic dinner here. The staff are really welcoming and the food is excellent. There's also a good choice of drinks, including good wines and cocktails. All round excellent experience, would highly recommend.

Went with friends to celebrate our joint wedding anniversary, us 49 years, our friends 38 years. Normally choose of the a la carte , but today’s lunch menu at £22 for 3 courses ticked all the boxes. We all chose of it and I have to say it was excellent. Coupled with excellent service and a great atmosphere we couldn’t have asked for more. It’s quite a way from where we live but well worth the drive.

The previous owners ran an excellent gastro pub. I did wonder, will it be as good? It certainly was, we'll be back. I would definitely recommend giving the Lunesdale a go.

Visited on a Thursday eve, the building has clearly had a lot of money spent on it and looks amazing inside. The service was excellent, we had tapas which was superb, all dishes presented beautifully and tasted great. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely return.

Beautiful pub/restaurant, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is great with plenty of choice and whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed. Generous portions and always good quality. The staff are attentive and friendly. It’s become one of our favourite places to visit with family and friends.
