The Traders Arms – BlackburnGreat food lovely atmosphere excellent service.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenNot been for a few years but it was recently recommended by a friend who has a partner with celiac. One of our party also has celiac so we thought to give it a go. Place lovely and service OK but when the lady took the order it was advised and we requested the meal was completely gluten free. Unfortunately when it arrived it wasn't and was only evident after some had been eaten. Celiac as all allergies are serious for the person affected and so an amount of trust is needed from any restaurant, which was disappointing in this case.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyAnother great visit. Excellent, atmosphere and food prepared, and served, by lovely people
Quattro’s – OrmskirkGood food friendly service. Excellent as usual.
Quattro’s – Ormskirk5 star
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenAs always, excellent food and service. Can’t beat Brizola.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeThe best Sunday roast I've had in a long while.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnFood absolutely excellent and great variety to suit all tastes. Had Sunday lunch this time - rebooked for the following week.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat Venue Lovely ambience Excellent food, but needs to be served on warm plates. Cooled down far too quickly. Set lunch menu good value and good choice of dishes. Service better than first 2 visits, which was quite poor with problems caused by waitress not listening properly and billing problems! 3 attempts before correct bill received, tip of £65 added instead of bill being rounded to that amount. However, problems with coffee order, cold and far too strong, 10 minute delay between cups for each diner and told there was no chance of a pot of hot water. Had to request sugar which was delivered sulkily along with a small jug of hot water after second request. Lack of professionalism and experience of waiting staff could result in failure for a potentially great restaurant!
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenGreat place!! Great food and service
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeFood, service & atmosphere all perfect for a lovely family lunch. Would definitely recommend the lobster ravioli & tiramisu
Quattro’s – OrmskirkBeen going for years and I have to say the atmosphere is just as good. The food is excellent and the staff are really pleasant and helpful. Well done. Keep up the good work. Will keep going back.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallBooked here for a girls night, food and drinks were great really happy with the service and quality of everything will definitely be back
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFood was beautifully presented & excellent quality, the atmosphere was relaxed & the service team were attentive - a lovely evening out.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenLovely place, attentive pleasant staff. Husband chose the Caesar salad, it didn’t seem to have any chicken in? I chose a chicken flatbread with home made pesto. The bread was really hard, too hard to cut and the pesto, was really too oily and not enough flavour, could just taste oil. 2 bad choices but will try again.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonWe had a birthday meal at CDJ,somewhere special. The place is built and finished to a high standard so is a pleasure to be there.A lovely cocktail to start.I had tapas that were very good and my partner had a steak which was beautifully cooked.Good to see food being prepared freshly in the kitchen.Hope CDJ stays popular and does well.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenWe had a fantastic night at the chefs table, the food was excellent and it was great to watch the chefs at work. Will definitely return to try other dishes. The beef short rib and monkfish Wellington were my favourites! So nice to have great quality food and cocktails on our doorstep!
