Out for a 75th birthday lovely courtyard, great ambience, excellent food, friendly staff, all round good experience and singing happy birthday was a nice touch, great day and night.

There is no doubt that Chef Dan Jolley and his team shine through with the standard and quality of food. We (my mum and me) shared 6 small plates tapas all with equal success. The team were really friendly and just need a bit more attention to detail of service - which I’m sure will come through time. The biggest factor that pulled the whole experience down significantly was the atmosphere : Walking into a wall of music akin to a disco at decibel levels that made your ears bleed was disconcerting. Thankfully they did turn the music down to a decent level. The main problem was constant stream of off street walk ins on a Darwen pub crawl getting leathered, accompanied with a Harry Potter film showing on a big screen TV next to the bar? It’s early days - week 3 of opening so I really hope you find your fit. Perhaps offer drinks only on the outside terrance or screen the dining area better. We had drinkers sat for a time next to us! Not a great dining experience at £95. The food however was truly brilliant.

Another brilliant evening with delicious food. We’ve been wanting to take our friends who don’t live locally here for a long time and they loved it. Service was spot on and all dishes top notch.

Went on Saturday evening the food was amazing we had a lovely time. They have introduced some new drinks and a new menu it was fabulous. 5 stars for Maxy Pantry.

Staying in the area on holiday, and this is the only venue we visited twice. Fantastic pizzas at reasonable prices, and v friendly staff. Our dog was made to feel particularly welcome. Many thanks. Next time we're in the area, we'll be sure to visit!

Great, the move from Darwen to new location was great and the quality has improved even more with the venue upgrade. Best place around and now wine list is much better.

Excellent food with fantastic service.

Lovely meal faultless room was OK but shared it with a flipping dog at another table. Do NOT agree with animals in and around food tables or kitchens slavering everywhere. That was what spoilt it for my party of 7. Otherwise ok. I am an Associate Member of Public Health & Hygiene and animals were not permitted in Eateries when l qualified my Certificate. Old habits die hard.
