Fabulous Anniversary meal. Food excellent as always. Staff attentive, polite and very welcoming. A pleasurable experience. Our favourite Italian restaurant. Would recommend to everyone.

We visited The Lunesdale Arms on the way home from a Glasgow trip. Just off the M6, this place is an absolute must to stop and have lunch compared to stopping at a service station Unbelievable food (the roasts were brilliant) at reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food/drinks arrived quickly Would definitely return if back in the area

The food and service was amazing, went on Market day and had a fantastic meal. So tasty and an amazing choice, will be back

I came for a long overdue catch up with friends. Service & food were excellent as always. My only issue was my poached egg was hard but this was rectified quickly and without fuss. We choose to sit in the conservatory area which is always nice, it was just a little noisier than usual. Staff, food, service and food were all great.

Lovely restaurant, but pizza I had Sunday , yesterday wasn’t as hot and doughy, The new waitress is brilliant xx

What a lovely and isolated country pub serving amazing food with incredible views. We were here yesterday on our last leg of bike packing around the Mary Townley loop ( the pub is literally on the route! ). The food and atmosphere were outstanding and the staff were attentive and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful to a couple of weary bikers. Highly recommend and will definitely make another visit if we ever get around to doing the loop again but this time on horseback.

Food excellent as usual. Had 1.burrata to start and the monkfish special. Monkfish cooked to perfection. 2. Avocado and crab to start and Insalate de Quattro starter portion to follow. Left room for a dessert. All yummy. Great service from Paul.

Only been for Sunday Lunch. It’s always amazing & tasty. The staff are very friendly and accommodating Would highly recommend.

We had a great night for my husbands birthday food was amazing service a bit slow but there was a big group in celebrating an 18th birthday so totally understand that kitchen can only cope with so many at a time

Another very enjoyable visit to the Arms. Despite the change of ownership the menu show’s little alteration and is excellent. The staff have changed but are still excellent, attentive without fussiness and very pleasant. The interior hasn’t changed and has always been a real plus, with plenty of space and no encroachment on the other tables. I did note that selected wine board had disappeared but I still found an excellent choice within the menu. I often take visiting family and friends for a meal at the Arms and it is very much appreciated.

Visited The Traders on Sunday 21st July. Our 3rd visit in the last few months. Once again the meal was excellent. No complaints at all. Four of us dined and all choose different from the many choices available. All first class. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is lovely too. We will be back again soon. Thank you

Table was ready when we arrived, no waiting around. Attended to by courteous and pleasant staff. Great food!!! Never had a bad meal in fourteen years.
