Always our go to restaurant from the moment you walk through the door the staff, service and food is always very good

One of the worst meals we have ever had - we will not return. We were informed as soon as we say that there was a big party in & food service was going to be slow. Had I been told this when I booked I may of reconsidered. Our starters were good. Our main took one an hour to arrive & it was dreadful, probably the worst parmo I have ever eaten. My wife’s fish & chips were equally poor, she left 80% of it. To make matters worse one of the waitresses dropped a drink off her tray onto our table spilling drink over the table (missing the food). It was an accident & accidents happen but not even the offer of a drink or a small reduction in the bill.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Food also beautifully presented. Easy to book and park outside. Also plain tempura prawn and chips my daughter would eat - and she liked the chicken kottu which was a bonus

Come many times and the food and service is always perfect . Unfortunately on Friday night it was extremely salty . Won't put us off hopefully it was a one off

First time visiting the White Gate but I’m hoping not the last. The pub was welcoming, the food was really good and the staff were delightful. Although there was plenty of choice, we chose fish and chips, steak pie, bouillabaisse and pork belly and everything was tasty and well cooked. Would definitely recommend.

Food For Cowboys A must visit if you love deliciously real tasty food freshly made to order So many choices of Mexican infused with Spanish & American tapas We saw this place on social media ytube & the guy was going crazy about it A busy place with helpful staff as we were first timers so 3 / 4 dishes per person was recommended & spot on with the favs too Will be back to try the rest of the menu for sure Do yourself a BIG favor n try this place OMG you'll love it If you cant get a table booking go try next door at the lovely old pub The White Hart There's a serving hatch to eat in there Great isn't it !

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal on the 9th Sept. Food was excellent quality and very reasonably priced. Service and friendly staff. Would certainly return when in the area.

Had a delightful time at Tabby teas. Charlotte, Sophie and the other young lady who was there on Wednesday were lovely. They take such amazing care of the cats and the cats are just so chilled and entertaining. A great way to de-stress and enjoy the very relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back! The coffee was really good but didn’t have anything to eat.

Visited with friends. We all enjoyed our meal and drinks. Staff polite and pleasant. After our meal we had drinks in the cosy bar. Very nice atmosphere.

We visited on a Monday and had the lunchtime special. The four people in our party each had spring rolls which were honestly the best I've ever had, lovely and crispy and packed with flavoursome veggies, one had meat and said they were delicious. Between us we had chow mein, lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken and chicken curry...a bit of a theme there... and there was ample food, plenty to satisfy us all. Rounded off with coffee, a bargain. Staff were lovely and very friendly and efficient with it. It's certainly one of our favourite places to eat deserving a 10 out of 10 !

Our little group of golfing ladies returned to Little Sicily as we were so pleased with our meal 2 years ago. We were not disappointed on this visit either. The welcome and service can not be faulted. The Italian House wine was lovely. We all enjoyed our meals. We will certainly return.

I visit once a year, entertaining clients and the food and service is always fantastic. Highly recommended.

2nd experience here was our wedding anniversary 1st time we visited we was more then happy 2nd time we was very disappointed only thing good was the service the food was disappointing we ordered 4no cornbread very dry lacking in taste the scallops was not tasty served on rock hard crispy bread the menu is need of a revamp old lacking detail on what you are served the place needs a total revamp to much detail to the open kitchen not the restaurant where is the cowboy theme? Won’t be visiting again
