Once again we were not disappointed with our choice of food, and the pleasant service was excellent.

Dined 3/10/26 We where looking forward to our meal all day and boy o boy you guys are amazing. We had the meat platter with a side of goats cheese parcels and some extra halloumi, everything was exceptional, the flavors, presentation and the staff where all amazing. Definitely returning to try the meze on another day. 5 stars all round

As always good was delicious. Service is attentive but not intrusive. We enjoyed a lovely evening celebrating my birthday.

Great food in a great atmosphere. The only negative was that they forgot our drinks order but this was soon rectified. If we lived closer we would live to become regulars

We visited the Brazilian for our anniversary dinner. It was an interesting experience. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The salad bar was lovely. You need a very big appetite to do the £42 per head justice. I don’t eat big meals so I felt it was expensive for the amount I ate.

Food & service was lovely. We ordered starters for 5 & a main meal each. Lots left over do we took the rest home in takeaway containers provided. Very reasonably priced too. Definitely be back.

Our group of five travelled specifically for a meal as we had experienced nothing but fabulous food under the previous landlord. We weren't disappointed - we tried 2 items from the specials board - Beef brisket and Pork loin , plus a standard menu item -good old Fish and Chips. Absolutely first class meals all round and excellent cheery service , plus the bonus of a choice of 6 x cask ales and 3 x Keg ales. Very good value for money too. Highly recommended.

Have never been disappointed at Tocketts and on Saturday we were shown straight to our table, drinks brought and meal orders taken and food was delivered piping hot without delay - all delicious! Staff were attentive and our waiter Abel was fantastic, very friendly and approachable, sharing a laugh - as well as being efficient - and his rapport added to the enjoyment of a great evening. We’ll be back!!

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, warm with open fires and delicious food

My wife and I visited on Saturday as we were staying nearby and it’s the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever visited. The food was exquisite and the staff extremely attentive. It’s a 5 stars from me.

Yep, a great eating experience from start to finish. My wife and I are not very knowledgeable about Japanese food and the advice the waitress gave us was really helpful. We were greeted and made welcome throughout our visit and that is something I was particularly impressed by. The food was very enjoyable and the atmosphere very relaxing. It was nice to have a chat with the manageress and she is a true professional and we will certainly be back. I thought in terms of value for money I was satisfied given the quality of the food and the intricate work that it takes to prepare a dish. One thing I though might be improved is that the lighting might be toned down a little to add to the ambience and maybe consider what music is being played as although I did not find any of it not to my taste, maybe a bit of Asian mixed in would be nice. Overall a great night with no negatives

The food at the Green Dragon was exceptional, as always: our favourite local pub!! So happy that it's literally on our doorstep! The venison burgers and hispi cabbage on the side was so flavourful and tasty - thank you!!

Really enjoyed our first visit here-yes it’s quite pricey but you can eat as much as you’d like!!!..Could do with a bigger selection of 0%beers. The salad selection was lovely and only one of the ‘many’ pieces of meat I ate was a little chewy…Will definitely be returning!:)
