An excellent meal selected from a good menu. All diners well satisfied. Pricing reasonable.

Great overnight stay, immaculate room, comfy bed, white fluffy towels, tea & coffee facilities (in the room), quiet area, good tasty food, very fresh, not ‘pub food’ staff polite & helpful. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others too.

Fabulous restaurant. Food was amazing and staff friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great when we got there, but we had a couple on the next table to us who kept getting their mobile phones out on loud speaker, this did spoil it for us, hopefully this was a one off.

Food was lovely and fresh. However unfortunatley I will not be returning. Attended for my mums birthday. Atmosphere wasn't great. 2 staff members working appeared to be continuously arguing between themselves. Unable to make out what was being said as speaking in Italian, however from the tone, gestures and body language could tell something negative was happening. Additionally we felt as though we were an inconvenience due to us being a large table. It took over an hour for our drinks order to be taken. Servers were apologising to other customers about delays, and stating it was due to the large party, however at this point no drinks or food order had been taken and we felt ignored. Another point that showed we weren't welcome. We asked about ordering desserts and was told the kitchen was closed. To later be informed by a female that we could still order dessert. Disappointing as my mum had really liked it here before and was wanting to experience with the rest of us for her birthday. Felt upset that she didn't enjoy her birthday celebrations

Our first visit to Brooks but it will not be our last. Lovely food enjoyed in a great atmosphere with excellent friendly service. Interesting menu and the small dishes concept works well here. Don’t over order as it only takes about 10 minutes to get fresh dishes to you.

Really nice meal. My wife had Scampi and I had Scallops followed by sea food parcel. All delicious. Service and atmosphere were excellent. Highly recommended.

No interaction from the staff, menu and offers for the evening not explained or communicated very stern attitude from the waitress, no check to see if the meal was ok and no offer to order extra drinks, service was not good enough for this style and price of restaurant. Food however was nice.

What a lovely place for cat lovers to visit. Well cared-for, socialised cats, an enthusiastic and conscientious human team and tasty food and drink. A happy find, and somewhere to return to. Overall, quite the nicest cat café I've been to.

Our meal at sambuca was delicious as it always is ,just one complaint my husband asked the waiter to ring us a taxi after he paid the bill and left a £10 tip and he said we don't ring taxi's, they always have done in the past ,so not a good end to our evening.

We visited 4th July for lunch, not everyone was happy with their food, the coleslaw with the chicken burgers wasn't very nice and the chicken was only warm the chips were very dry. There was only two vegatarian choices, 1. Chickpea pie, 2. Goats cheese salad, so not great choices. However the staff were very friendly & welcoming & the beer was great with a good selection of real ale.

Best pies in the district. Friendliest and most accommodating Landlord in the district. Best locals in the district. There is a good chance that I am a bit biased, but there is also a good reason for that. (Best pies in the district)

A fantastic and well presented restaurant. The decor is amazing, along with the service. The food is beautifully presented and tastes delicious. We had the tasting menu and it did not disappoint leaves us wanting to come back and try more. 100% recommend
