Brilliant atmosphere in a truly lovely restaurant. The food was delicious as always - a highlight the corn ribs with maple. The slight downfall for me was a lack of protein in either vegan option - a banana blossom or courgette taco (which were both flavourful don't you worry). Would just love to see a more robust veggie/vegan option. The meat eaters amongst my group were highly satisfied with the range of options and found everything they ordered to be brilliant. Amazing service also.

We visited Tocketts Mill yesterday with the table booked for 5.30pm. Service was very good. Staff are always friendly. The food was delicious. All of our group of 5 enjoyed their meals. Good choice on the menu. Food well presented and very tasty. Lovely relaxed atmosphere for a catch up. We would all recommend and will definitely be coming back.

I ate at The White Gate twice in 3 days and both were fabulous meals. First meal was with a friend - I had delicious halibut and she had the pie. Both absolutely delicious. I brought my husband 2 days later for a celebration meal and treated him to the beef wellington which he rated really highly. The chocolate fondant after was quite simply the best we'd ever tasted - and the ice cream was also special. Service was great, decor welcoming and all in all 2 lovely evenings. They certainly have one of the very best chefs around

I’ve had their food at pop ups, Bond Street and at the white heart, but this was the first time in the restaurant. I went with a friend visiting for the weekend. Warm welcome, and explanation of the specials. Sea bass ceviche, scallop taco, chicken Caesar “salad”, and potato. The meal was superb, and the cocktails. I’ll definitely be back and my friend said she’ll have to bring her husband.

Excellent day I really recommend! Lovely selection of food and drink and extremely lovely cats. This is an ethical and delightful little cat café, the cats are very well cared for and loved dearly by the staff and you can tell, will definitely be back!!

Lovely meal, reasonably priced. Conservatory was lovely to eat in.

Some unusual and interesting mixtures of flavours, like the courgette and cashew cream taco. All the tacos are very well filled so you need to use a fork to taste the topping before trying to eat it in the taco. The prawn taco was very tasty but the crisp taco didn’t really work to eat it with. All the food was tasty and came as expected in stages and thats good, the corn was a bit overcooked to our taste but still tasty. Drinks are quite pricey, a very average wine for £30. Sat in front of the speaker the music was rather loud.

I came here with my work parents for my work dad’s retirement meal and it was such a great meal. We had the lunch menu and had three plates each which were all delicious (although definitely could’ve had two and it be plenty). The person serving us was very knowledgeable with allergies too.

Excellent friendly service, good quality food and very on the ball with regards to allergies. We ate with you 3 evenings last week and it was very enjoyable, Thanks you, Ian and Carol.

Visited during heat wave. The room was light, airy and well ventilated and mercifully cool after a scorching day. Excellent choice of food served beautifully. On an 8 day tour eating out each night. We rated this our best meal of the trip and not expensive.

My group of 13 fellow walkers enjoyed a lunch and drinks at the Kings head. The food was excellent and served excellently and promptly. All the staff were very obliging ensuring we had a great day. We would not hesitate to visit again.

Excellent meal with good attentive service. Plenty of choice even on the gluten free menu. I wish they would open again in Leeds!

We are regular customers and as always our meal on Tuesday was excellent, well prices with great service. It's also excellent value for money either from the early bird or the main menu.

Nice food and atmosphere. Will visit again when in the area.
