Very good in all aspects. Lovely food, service was great and a nice busy atmosphere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lovely lunch at the Aegean on 15/10/26 celebrating my husbands birthday. The food was of high quality, very authentic Greek flavours and generous portions. The waitress and chef very pleasant and friendly. The restaurant was very quiet unfortunately (only us in!) due to hull fair week but we didn’t mind that. We really enjoyed a pleasant lunchtime meal and hope we get chance to return x

Great welcome in an iconic traditional venue. The Kings Arms is beautifully maintained with a great balance between it's very traditional English coaching inn and the contemporary comforts we expect in the 21st century.

Overall, a very pleasant experience with friends. The meal itself was very nice and one of the better ones I've had in the area. Waiter/waitresses were polite and attentive. The only slight negative was the wait time for food which was slightly over an hour from our arrival. It was particularly busy with a few large groups so understandably the wait time was longer than normal so not a major criticism. Would definitely visit again when back in the area! P.s never try the Da Bomb sauce! Far too hot.

Really appreciate the effort of Gluten free and Dairy Free options. Travelled specifically for that from Keighley. Food tatsy and reasonably priced. Good beer selection too. Thank you.

Had a lovely meal with my husband at the Aegean restaurant down Newland Avenue . The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a lot of choice on the menu. Lovely time had.

First time eating here and we enjoyed it so much. ! My husband was in meat heaven - the place was so clean - the service very attentive and we will definitely go back

We had a lovely meal, and everything was really good! The mixed grill special was delicious, the halibut was cooked beautifully, and the chicken and leek pie was absolutely lovely, although it was massive and I couldn’t eat it all. Everything was thoroughly enjoyed, and we would definitely recommend it. We’ll certainly be back!

Good service. Food is not as good as it used to be. Burger was overcooked and lasagne was layered only with meat and served with the tomato sauce in the bowl rather than layered through it which we thought was a bit odd. Some of the lasagne sheets weren't cooked. The prawn pasta was good.

First time trying food for cowboys, the food was absolutely delicious , everyone was welcoming and friendly. Cosy relaxed atmosphere, can’t wait to come back.

Our first visit to the AegeanTaverna when on a brief visit to Hull. Welcoming staff and atmosphere, good service. We chose the moussaka and green salad, wished we'd had time to try the starters - all our favourites. Generous portions at fair prices for current times. Hope we have chance of a future visit. Recommended.
