Took a long time for our food to arrive and the service was incredibly slow. Food was disappointing and not worth the money. Pudding unfortunately did not fair any better. Would not recommend, sorry

Just visited for sunday lunch, what a disappointment, booked for 5 people given a table for 4 when we pointed out barman brought a stool to place at the end of the table which we declined and he then found a chair but this caused problems for people trying to get past, food was very mediocre, nut roast over done, Yorkshire pudding like a pancake, cauliflower cheese with parmesan (don't know where parmesan was) colour of the mash very off putting, looked like only one young waitress trying to serve a full pub, our desserts arrived with our mains still not cleared from the table, the shortbread served with posset was overdone, all in all not a good experience, sorry we will not rush back

I visited this restaurant for the first time blast Friday night. I am a fussy vegetarian but could eat anything on the full page vegetarian/vegan menu. The food was extremely good and so was the service. I will certainly return and recommend the restaurant.

A fabulous experience, as always. The ambience, food (& ability to change the ingredients to suit personal taste) and service were all great. The only suggestion would be to offer a sweet small accompaniment to the coffee (not a dessert).

Had a nice meal. Nothing special. Wasn't happy with the service charge put on without asking. Service ok but didn't warrent 10%. I like to tip myself don't like to be told what to tip

Our 1st time at the Brazilian and to be fair it will be my last we got seated and then told about the salad bar we had already ordered drinks at the bar and then waited awhile before they arrived it was quite busy and alot of people was seated. When they guys was coming round with the meat one slice each it was really tough to cut through then after one slice off the skewer was taken off ..the meat was raw and they was still serving it to customers the meat was not good then the chicken thighs came round then sausages then the prawns which was really over cooked the turkey was really dry the bread really dry you only get one servette to wipe your hands on the table was very messy which was not cleared waited ages for drinks then they were that full off ice that it spilled onto the table making it all wet and it was just left it's very over priced and not worth another visit

Found this little beauty of a restaurant on CHATGPT of all places….!? And as much as I’m not a fan this was a great find and well worth it. Bit difficult to book as wasn’t 100% clear but managed through Google. Times we needed was available and good confirmation when it was completed The welcome upon arrival was lovely and so friendly. Lovely environment and very quant inside. The lighting was a little bright from the ceiling but got used to it and even managed to put the light on on the table (touch sensitive!). The menu was very varied and well priced and when it arrived it was superb!! Well presented, hot, fresh and tasty and delicious! Nice portion sizes (an extra rice ball when we shared the starter!) The drinks were a little expensive (though that seems to be the case nowadays!) and not a large choice (however Italian beer is always good!). They were served quick and fresh. Great night extremely great service and so friendly staff!! The Front of House gent was a credit to the restaurant. Also had a nice acknowledgment from the chef as he left. All in a great little restaurant and great night!! Well recommended!!

Fantastic service from walking in to paying the bill. Team were warm welcoming and always on hand. Food was delicious great value for money, and some great cocktails on offer to try. First time we have been and will definitely be back!

I went on Wednesday as a treat. Food was amazing but the service was very poor after having ordered 2 serving from the all you can eat. I was asked are you finished or are you ordering more as I want to close the kitchen this was around 21.30 The price was £25 per people so I was expecting alittle more. Will not be going back

Anniversary Dinner 2 days ago. Everything was excellent - they really go the extra mile.

We almost always go for dim sum: it is well cooked, well presented and is very tasty. There is a good variety and it is easy to choose from clear pictures on the menu. The waiters will always help, too. London restaurants may have trollies so that you can choose from the real thing, but the whole experience in York is at least as good, if not better. Whether you are a regular diner or a newcomer you'll enjoy your meal.
