I’m so sad to write this review. Went here on Friday night to remember my lovely father in law on his heavenly birthday. What a total bad experience. My mother in law was concerned about how big the stroganoff was and asked for a small portion. Got it told we couldn’t have that. Order Thai fish cakes and even the server said they are as big as your head!!!!! Joking aside they were tasteless and rock hard. There was two of them also!!!!! had to also ordered lasagna and scampi. The lasagna was tasteless, gloopy, and burnt. The scampi was okay but lacked in numbers. What a joke of a night! We ordered a coffee and reminded staff three times of that decaf coffee. I’m not even sure it ended up being decaf as my mother-in-law was awake all night long. So sad at our experience on such a poignant evening.

Wonderful!! The Craven Arms is superb, with extremely friendly hosts and is in a great location close to two railway stations and a short walk into Settle town. The atmosphere is fantastic, it has a really homely feel to it, casual and friendly with the public areas as spotless as the rooms. The rooms have sumptuous beds, so comfy and are well equipped. We dined in the restaurant and the food was superb, we appreciated having been advised to book. All in all we highly recommend it and will definitely return 10/10

We had the most wonderful meal at the Kings Arms on our 33rd wedding anniversary on 15th May. The food was, as normal, exceptional. Staff are very good, very efficient and welcoming. We have eaten here a few times now and it is our 'go to' place for exceptional quality.

We had a lovely meal at panuozzo’s. Always tasty food. The service and staff were friendly and the right level of attentive with drinks and checking if everything was ok.

Hi all.. I booked a table for my wife's birthday and guest on Sat 16th May 26. Very pleased with the communication sorting menu's and pricing etc ( via phone & emails) with the run up to the date Sat 16th May 25.. Food was excellent (comments of all guest). Service on the night was spot on. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book. Thanks to Holly and all the staff for a very nice experience . Regards. Richard.

Enjoyed it all from start to finish. Great service really pleasant is and friendly staff. Food was excellent and the wine very nice too.

We were a party of 4 and had bottomless brunch. There was a great choice of both food and drink. Our drinks were topped up regularly without us having to ask, the staff were lovely. I had a pizza and it was amazing. I'd definitely recommend Panuozzos and will be going back.

Had another lovely breakfast at Tocketts Mill, where the staff are so friendly. Love the cosy bar area!

Went for Bottomless Brunch on Saturday tea time. Really good drinks choices and the food was top notch, as always! Really good service, and kept us topped up on drinks at all times. Really good value!

Really enjoyed our meal at Oakley's. Restaurant was fairly quiet so maybe lacked a bit of atmosphere. Weather was miserable so other people away. Our waitress was lovely, sorry I didn’t get her name. Young lady with long dark hair. If we visit Skipton again, we will return.

Went here with high expectations. First of all we ordered a pickle tray. The selection of dips were average and the popadoms had been broken in a bowl (Please just leave them whole). We then ordered a mixed grill and after touring many Indians around East Yorkshire this was a first. The mixed grill was like what your would expect from a pizza shop. The chicken drum sticks where coated in a sweet chilli, there chicken was marinated in garlic and the kofta was horrible and tasted like a strong cheese and the lamb chops came with some mint sauce. If I go to an Indian I expected to be marinated in Indian spices and come on a sizzling hot plate. Another one of our party ordered a curry and rated it average, and has upset his stomach for the following 3 day. This was also the most expensive Indian I have been to. Overall this was the worst Indian in Hull that I’ve been to. I don’t take it likely to write a bad review but with poor food and high prices I would definitely give this a wide birth.

Great little restaurant, We had the Cannelloni and the Tortellini special. The Cannelloni was delicious in a scrumptious tomato sauce, the Tortellini was unbelievable, little meat filled parcels(not cheese which isn't known nowadays) in a bolognese and mushroom sauce absolutely superb. We got a garlic bread with prawns to go with it, again very good, a lovely chilled bottle of house white, also we got the Torte nonna for desert,very nice and lemony top with almonds and pine nuts a truly excellent meal in lovely surroundings and pleasant friendly staff. Amazing place must give it a go.

Supper before the theatre & we weren’t disappointed. Lots of choice, good beautifully & skilfully presented. The upstairs is great, nice environment. Tasty, slightly different to the norm food, friendly efficient service.
