Visited 13/8/26, excellent food and service. Will be back.

Visited on 14 August. Overall we were very disappointed. The fish cakes were virtually all mashed potato and the fish could not be tasted. Seafood money bag didn't contain a single scallop whilst there was white fish which may have been haddock but there was certainly no smoked haddock in the dish. The thermidor sauce was thin and and tasteless, mustard cheese and brandy could not be tasted also there didn't appear to be any shallots in it. We had booked on the strength of the summer menu on the web site but the menu we were given was not the same menu. We visit Skipton regularly and certain will not be going back to the bistro. On the day we were not the only customers who were dis appointed.

My granddaughters and I visited yesterday and enjoyed a wonderful occasion. It was so friendly and welcoming. Good explanation of the rules to maximise cat comfort, each one introduced along with its characteristics. We enjoyed food and drinks, good hospitality and even bought a small souvenir. Can't wait to return to see the furry friends and cat mums. Thank you.

A favourite pub with a a great restaurant great for a weekend away. Food is always delicious and always a couple of vegetarian choices. Bar is lively on a weekend with a lovely atmosphere, real ales, great selection of gins and a whisky menu with some unusual varieties. Great service and great service. Highly recommend a visit

Had an anniversary meal on Saturday and couldn’t fault it at all, we have been quite a few times and always return, the staff are great as well.

Precooked as know how busy Saturday evenings are Prompt efficient service which was great. Lovely rapport with staff and nothing was too much trouble. All 4 mains were presented lovely however too full for desserts! You are one of our favourite places to eat now.! Thank you for a lovely night

We have been to Tocketts Mill several times now and we have not been disappointed, serve is very good ,food has always been nice, it is in a nice peaceful area

Visited for our 21st wedding anniversary Friday 13th August. The table was ready, drinks order taken along with our chosen food orders. Wonderful starter garlic bread which was shared and the main meals were equally delicious. Staff were on the ball and attentative. A wonderful venue.

Enjoyable stay, me and my friend visited after completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks, we had made a reservation for food and had also booked a room for the night. The staff were very friendly and the food was great, lovely hearty food just after a big hike, I had the steak, cooked very well. A lovely cosy restaurant with views of lovely Yorkshire greenery. Breakfast was also great, a good selection of hot and cold food and endless juices and coffees. Would recommend a visit.

First let me say the food was excellent. However,the organization of a pre booked meal for 6 was beyond woeful. It took days for the initial email to be answered . I contacted them and explained I needed to pre book meals to be served at 11-30 as we had a taxi waiting at 12-30 to take us to our venue. The staff were lovely and assured me that despite the kitchen not usually opening until 12 noon this could be accommodated. It wasn’t the food arrived at 12-05 ( all pre ordered so no surprises) and we had to bolt it down . No one was able to finish their meals and this was just burgers and sandwiches. It ruined what should have been a lovely day. Danny was excellent ,It wasn’t his fault,but the order should not have been accepted 7 days in advance ,if it was not possible to fulfill. Never spoke to the manageress as she was never available.

Fantastic food. Great polite service. Never been before but was helped with the menu by the server. Reasonable pricing. Wll definitely eat there again
