Amazing food every time and the service is always wonderful, warm and friendly. Our favourite Chinese restaurant.

Stayed overnight at HPB Lodge Yard Askrigg. Had a delicious dinner - Thai chicken curry (v generous portion) and yummy fish pie - followed by tasty lemon tart. Good wine list. Waiting staff very friendly and helpful. Prices v reasonable. (As staying at Kings Arms also had a very good breakfast)

A bigger and better variety of indian food in comfortable surroundings. Food is spicier than supermarket dishes so one chilli on menu is about two chillis on Tesco pack. Staff are attentive and obliging.

We went to Tockets Mill to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with our daughter and unfortunately we left a little underwhelmed. The staff and the service they provided were very good however, the same can't be said for the food. The majority of the vegetables that were available for the carvery were cold which was extremely annoying considering a medium carvery was £17 and a large carvery was £20. We left very disappointed and definitely won't be visiting the carvery again.

Made a special trip to Skipton to revisit this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. I wish I lived closer so that I could go more often. Difficult to decide what to chose as menu was very tempting. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, really recommend this resturant

Superb Sunday lunch. Lamb shoulder with minty gravy was tender and tasty. The pork was a similar standard with crispy crackling. The roast potatoes were crispy outside and fluffy inside and the veg all perfectly cooked. All served promptly by the friendly staff.

Another fantastic meal , as always. The food is amazing and the staff are always lovely. Never disappointed. It is always our 'go to' place for a wonderful meal.

Super impressed with Sunday Roast Beef. Delicious. Also very pleased with the waiting staffs’ help with our intolerances. Will definitely book and be back again soon.

Second visit here and we brought a friend along to enjoy the fabulous food. Once again the food and staff didn't disappoint. Gorgeous food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere although we were right on top of a speaker so was a little bit loud! Everyone at Food for Cowboys are so friendly and the margaritas are amazing. Will be back again. Absolutely great place.

Lovely visit for a birthday celebrations. Great cocktails and service was excellent and attentive. My only criticism would be the vegetarian options. 2 members of our party ordered the sweet potato burger which they found quite 'claggy'. There seemed more options on line. The other 'meat eaters' all thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

I’ve been to food for cowboys quite a few times and was really looking forward to going again. Last night the food and service was superb. We had the peppers, corn bread with chorizo, scallops, corn on the cob, ox cheek sandwich and a lamb dish. Everything was brilliant, and the best bit, the bill was less than £40 a head. This is high quality dining at a price you can afford.
