Very nice, excellent. Would be good to offer smaller portions for pensioners. Despite that I will come again.

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely local restaurant with relaxing atmosphere. The set menu was excellent value.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneHave dined here many times. The atmosphere is unique. The service is v good. Unfortunately- although the menu is excellent- the meals themselves were a little underwhelming this time. Lacked the finishing touches. The lamb rump was nice and pink but too much fat accompanied it and there was no jus to add the sparkle needed. Smashed potatoes didnt add much to the dish. The hispi cabbage was good. So value for money suffered as a result.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent as always! Tempura oysters excellent as was the lobster. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely food very tasty will definitely return
Ancient Grains – Eastbournewe visited for the second time and chose octopus salad and heirloom tomatoes to start, followed by two pasta dishes, one with crab claws, the other sausage ragu. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It’s a great find in a very attractive part of the town. Highly recommended
