Lovely lunch sitting outside in the pavilion. Didn’t feel rushed… enjoyed our drinks while waiting for food. Disappointed they had run out of crab, but the sea bass was nice too Food was cooked and presented beautifully Friendly waitress service Doggie enjoyed her dinner too! See you again soon.

We always choose from the specials board and are never disappointed whether it be lobster, skate, sea bass, monkfish, etc. The Indian kissed potatoes are a treat to behold and we always ask for an extra portion to take home. Ancient Grains – EastbournePub was extremely busy on arrival, no one acknowledged us for 10 minutes and we waited standing at the bar for a member of the staff to make eye contact but we kept on being ignored and customers arriving after us waving their empty glass were being served! We eventually were shown to our table, we had the Greek menu. The starter was nice, we waited for the main course for a very long time, the haddock was ok and the chicken was very nice. We didn’t like the dessert, almond and lemon cake with ice cream. it was terrible, we only had the vanilla ice cream. Very disappointed with whole experience. Won’t be coming back.
