The Denbigh – BexhillLovely warm atmosphere with welcoming , attentive staff. Easy parking. Good selection on the menu and we can recommend the excellent tasty fish pie and fish and chips. For the summer months there is a semi covered eating area. Highly recommend.
The Denbigh – BexhillWent to the Globe Inn on Monday 12th to celebrate my fiancé 's birthday with friends. The whole meal was superb with friendly efficient service but particularly good was the baked camembert starter and the crispy squid starters. Main course of fish pie was delicious as was the sea bass, which my fiancé enjoyed. Rounded off with apple crumble and custard which was delicious. We will definitely return as the ambience was lovely and the friendly team at the Globe were great. Well done to all the staff and thank you for the birthday sparkler!

Hartfields – UckfieldThis is the second time we have been and I cannot recommend it enough. This is some of the homiest, most delicious food you can eat. It's so well prepared with every care. The staff are incredibly attentive and thoughtful, making it feel like you are at a family get together rather than a pub. We will be coming back again!

The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeNew Years Day lunch. Excellent service and lovely food.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe have eaten at The Globe many times and it is always excellent. We recently had dinner in New Year’s Eve and it was great. We turned up quite early as we needed to but it turned out that the restaurant were doing a special New Year’s Eve buffet menu that wasn’t starting till later in the evening and the manager asked if we wanted to wait till the food was ready but we explained that we had to get home for our elderly dog who was on her own at home. The staff could not have been more understanding and prepared us our own special mini buffet before the other diners arrived. Happy to report that the food was once again delicious and the service was excellent. A special mention for the kitchen staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. Thanks to everyone at The Globe - we will be sure to return.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeA great pub, with tonnes of character and style. Really friendly staff and the food is good. A lovely, relaxed place for a family meal. Definitely recommended.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe (my husband and I) went to the Globe for NYE evening. We live in London but had visited before and thought it would be a cool place to spend that special evening and make a two day trip of it. Staff were fantastic; welcoming, efficient and personable. Food was delicious. Great range of drinks; we had cocktails (which were most definitely full strength!) but we picked up from other diners that the wine choices were also excellent. We loved the range of books and games on offer for a normal pub night. The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. We had been hoping for a bit of a boogie and this was probably the only down side. The band was not one you could dance to and there was not really the space to do so. The non-band recorded tracks between the bands sets were more party-ish. We left at 11:15 because we felt there wasn’t any sign or momentum that things were moving to more of a dance party which may have been a misconception on our part. The people we were sitting near felt the same but stayed hoping there’d be some dancing later. Also, very good value for the quality of food and drink offered AND it was NYE. We will definitely return any time we are back in Rye. It was just a pity that there was a bit of a misunderstanding about the entertainment.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeVery good food, friendly and helpful staff. I have been several times recently with friends and family and we've thoroughly enjoyed our visits each time.
