Not been for ages, and found the food just as good. Good value for money, service was excellent and surrounds lovely.

Hi we went to Panama hattys on Friday teatime,and we really enjoyed it.the place is beautiful,the staff were lovely,and so was the food, would gladly call again.

Came to restaurant for birthday meals for my three children. We all absolutely loved it. Bit quiet as only recently reopened after new year. Lovely staff, lovely meals. Cannot wait to go back.

We attended Friday, found staff were friendly. Restaurant was cold and multiple people were sat with coats on. Restaurant location has potential but delivery is not yet up to standard. Hopefully feedback will be received positively and improvements implemented

Lovely cosy country pub. Great to visit with or without a walk around Bosley Cloud. However you travel you will be rewarded by amazing views over the Cheshire plain. Staff can't do enough to make you feel welcome. So pleased the pub has been brought back to life and being well managed.

We enjoyed a great evening meal with visiting family on Saturday 3 January. The food, staff and atmosphere were all lovely. We frequently eat here and are never disappointed and it is good to know we can be confident of a great dining experience when we bring visitors along.

We've been coming to the White Lion for years due to its warm and homely atmosphere, as well as reasonably priced, quality food. Service is always a bit of a lottery, though. Sometimes everything is brilliant, but others (like our most recent visit on a Friday lunchtime), less so. It wasn't busy, therefore initially, we were served quickly with drinks and our main course of food. However, from that point it felt like we were forgotten by our waiter. When our plates were cleared, we were not asked if we wanted anything else or a dessert menu. Therefore, we waited to see if anyone would come back. They didn't so I had to go looking for someone to ask for one. It then took ages for our dessert order to be taken and there was no one on the bar to order from either. The desserts (which are quite pricey!) also took ages to arrive. When they did, two of the desserts, which were pudding with custard, were stone cold. So I had to send them back. Again, I had to go and find someone to do this. So a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, they have 25% off food vouchers Jan-Mar 26, which we took advantage of, and the food (other than our dessert mishap this time) is usually good. On the negative, some of the staff could do a better job service-wise.

What can you say about the plough . It’s amazing great atmosphere with the cosy fire burning on an old Sunday afternoon. Wonderful menu to cater for all fantastic staff front of house and the food is always delicious from the fantastic chefs Thank you

Easy to book online, glad I did as packed yesterday. Nice menu, tasty baguette. My only disappointment was that they had run out of their famous onion soup- and it was only 1 15 p m! Better luck next time as I know it is the best.
