Last night our eldest joined us aswell with his girlfriend and our 3 week old grandson. As always the food and service was fantastic. Never had a bad meal here, not even a mediocre meal as its always delicious and plentiful.

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldIts been a few years since our last visit but decided to come for a special occasion. Unfortunately we were not as impressed as previous visits. The food was still nice but it wasnt as special as before with a reduced portion size and just didnt feel as special. We were also suprised at the service, the staff were all brilliant and friendly, however i think they are too husy as we asked for multiple things multiple times and even had to get up and ask at one point for a drink. Maybe it was a one off last night but not sure we will rush back as you expect more for the price i beleive. Very nice and friendly staff though and they should be praised for their attitude. Thanks I also cant amend the rating. Food- 3/5 Atmosphere- 4/5 Service - 3/5 Value- 2/5

Elmas Restaurant – LymmFirst time at Elmas, really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious, especially the meat dishes. My partner had cannelloni which she enjoyed, but would have liked to have had a dide salad with it. It gets very noisy from 8pm onwards so maybe book early if you want to have a romantic meal for two. Still a lovely place with very attentive staff.

The Ship Inn – MacclesfieldFour of us enjoyed a truly excellent lunch at Mere Court recently! It was our first time there and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. Two of our party had diet issues (Gluten Free) and these were addressed with no problems at all. The service from the staff was tip top, the food was of the very best quality and beautifully presented. I cannot fault them in any way - hence the full marks given below. We are planning to return soon and are looking forward to being there once again.

Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonMy wife and I had a delightful lunch to celebrate our 59th Wedding Anniversary. Our waitress was very attentive and made us feel at home and relaxed and we thank her for making our visit very enjoyable. We were very pleased when the management presented us with a bottle of red wine in recognition of our special anniversary. We will visit again and will recommend your establishment to our friends.
