The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichExcellent food and superb service. A++++++
The Coach and Horses – CongletonCouple of years since we had been to Chester, however, we always make a point of visiting Pacinos and we were really looking forward to the meal! Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations! Starters were great! For the main I had the veal which was very salty and my wife had the bolognaise which was very garlicky! We both left a lot of food and the gentlemen who we paid did reduce the bill for the mains by 50% but unfortunately this did not make up for our disappointment!
Pacino’s – ChesterOur first visit and our experince totally aligned with most prior feedback with excellent authentically Italian food, excellent service and a vibrant atmosphere. Dont go expecting fancy decor, this place reminds me of many restaurants that I’ve been to in Northern Italy with the bare minimum spent on buildings and with an emphasis on quality food. We will definately be back.
Pacino’s – ChesterAmazing stay, lovey hotel. The staff were great couldn’t do enough. The restaurant staff where so friendly and the birthday surprises made my husbands day. Apart from the problems sleeping due to a strange vibrating noise, I would definitely stay again
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordAlways good food and service.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmFood was fabulous! Excellent service. Will be back again soon
Pacino’s – ChesterWe visited several times and have had better experiences previously. My food was very good but my wife was disappointed with her steak pie. Although the pub was quiet when we visited, the service felt a bit fragmented and rushed. It hasn't put us off completely but it may be a while before we return as there are many other good pubs for lunches in the area
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichGreat evening at Elmas. Staff and atmosphere were fantastic and the food was outstanding.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWe went to this lovely pub while on a weekend away and the staff were so lovely and welcoming, especially of our dog. He even had some left over beef bits in a bowl. Unfortunately his meal was better than ours. We both ordered the lamb hotpot which was basically a bowl of gravy with a bit of carrot in and some very thin slices of potato on top. On the side was some very grey looking cabbage. I had one piece of lamb in mine, my husband was lucky enough to have three small chunks. Very poor value for money at £16.95. We did make our server aware who as an apology offered us ONE free desert. It was a kind gesture but unfortunately one free dessert between the two of us didn’t make up for the poor meal we had had. It’s a shame because the pub is great and the staff lovely and friendly but definitely need to work on the food. Vegetables and potatoes aren’t expensive so there is no excuse for these to be lacking in a meal. We were considering having our Sunday lunch here the next day until we had this experience so it’s a shame this has put off returning customers.
The Poachers Inn – MacclesfieldI didn't purchase food this time but previously it's been amazing!! A coffee meet up with a great atmosphere. It's my birthday on 30th November so I'll pop in again and enjoy you're lovely cakes!
Cafe De Paris – NantwichA very nice restaurant which looks smart and clean. Excellent service and food quality.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldTraditional pub with 4 cask beers from Robinson's, including on my visit, the wonderful Old Tom strong winter ale. Service was efficient and friendly, setting was historic and comfortable, food was hearty and enjoyable.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyExcellent food. Lovely service. Excellent choice.
Cafe De Paris – NantwichExcellent food service and value Melt in the mouth steak
Pacino’s – ChesterA hidden gem in Chester. An unlikely location but a great little place. Our first visit for a few years but food still good quality and great value
Pacino’s – ChesterBacchus is our favourite restaurant and never fails to impress. Great service, terrific menu and lovely surroundings and also very reasonably priced at lunchtime. Thank you !!
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldI’m part of a group of retired work colleagues who meet up for lunch every couple of months. 1st time we’d tried this pub but it was lovely.
