Amazing experience as always. Food absolutely fantastic, staff so friendly, professional and knowledgeable and overall a lovely atmosphere. For that quality, the price is very good.

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldGreat service and lovely food.
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamThe food and service were both excellent! We were a party of 5 and everyone really enjoyed everything they ate. Steaks were cooked exactly as requested. Service at the table was well paced - not too fast, not too slow. The waiter who attended our table was very friendly and polite. All together, a very pleasing experience!
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordJust returned from a short Christmas break with a party of 4. We had a lovely time - at £490 for 2 people - which included a 2 night stay and all your food - we thought it was good value for money. The staff were wonderful (particularly a young man whose name I didn’t catch unfortunately) but he went over and above to make sure our stay was comfortable. He waited on our table in the restaurant on Christmas Eve - whoever he was - he deserves a special mention. I liked the personal touches on arrival in the room - a card and a Christmassy pack of toiletries and chocolates/snacks. Christmas Day meal was busy and Father Christmas was wandering about which was also a nice touch. We spent the evening in one of the small lounge areas - very cozy and ended making some new friends. Thank you Mere Court - we will definitely return.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordIncredible afternoon and evening. The food and service could not be bettered. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t believe Burak and his team gave up their Christmas to make ours so special. I strongly recommend Elmas for a great meal right in the heart of Lymm.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmA cosy relaxed foodie pub with super views across the Cheshire plain. Easy booking, a wonderfully welcoming reception, excellent service and some really nice food. An excellent venue for informal food and drink.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonExcellent, excellent, excellent! Food Devine especially the sea bass! Couldn’t fault the evening. Superb wines and mixes. To top it off the coffee with Bailey,s and cream on top. Best I’ve ever had. Excellent service with a smile. All the staff work well. Top of my restaurant list for Chester. Highly recommend. A small candle on the table would of been nice. Slightly dimmed lights also. Unfortunately we could not hear any of the back ground music as the table to the right of us was extremely noisy and loud. All in all a lovely evening. Will return back.
Pacino’s – ChesterMy first visit on Christmas Eve. Was on my own and my two dogs. Very friendly wasvery busy, but the service was brillant. The food was brillant and not waiting long before it arrived. Food was fantastic. Would highly rate it. Loved it.
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamA lovely Christmas Eve meal with family everything was perfect
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyHad the most delicious lunch yesterday ... perfect large haddock and scampi and the new chips which were excellent (and red hot!). Great service as always despite being busy. Best place to eat round here by a long way
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichExcellent. Food good service good . Can not fault it . Thanks very much.
Cafe De Paris – NantwichHadn't been here for a while but will be back again soon. Monday evening so probably quieter than weekend but everything was perfect. Staff were very polite and attentive, food was excellent, wine chilled just right. Father Christmas was there so lots of children early in the evening and staff were quick to stop them running around where others were dining. No great problem to us but could have got in the way if staff bringing hot food. Great decor for Christmas. Highly recommend this place. Veg was a bit simple and would expect lemon wedge with scampi but otherwise perfect.
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamEnjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch. Everything was great, the food, the atmosphere and value for money.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonThe four of us have been several times to the Mere Court Hotel for Afternoon Tea, and really enjoyed it. However, our trip on 22 December was different. The overall atmosphere was good, service by the waitress was good, however we all felt the standard and taste of the sandwiches were not up to standard. The salmon was strong tasting and smelling and the turkey was very dry and the cranberry sauce tasted very different, not nice different. This was our Christmas treat and there were no crackers at the table - good job I bought our own. The scones and cakes were ok. I think the overall feeling was disappointment.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordGreat Sunday lunch with vegetarian options at the Alvanley Arms. We love that they do fresh vegetables , quality food and good size portions. The pub is warm and cosy with real fires and nicely decorated for Christmas. Friendly helpful staff too.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyFollowing a brisk walk up to Bosley Cloud we came to the Coach and Horses for lunch. I had already booked through the online booking facility as I couldn't get through on the phone, and the table was reserved and ready for us. Two of us had the home made Chicken and Haggis pie, and the other two had Roast Beef. The food was excellent, as was the friendly service, lovely warm atmosphere in front of the roaring wood burner, and the value for money. Highly recommended.
The Coach and Horses – CongletonHad a lovely meal at The Plough, meals were delicious and good value for money. Staff were friendly.
