Alvanley Arms – TarporleyOur second visit and first for Sunday lunch. Loved it last time and once again the food was excellent and service just the right amount of attentive. The staff are clearly well trained, knowledgeable and work well as a team.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldThe food and service at the Alvanley Arms are always extremely good. Lovely friendly staff and value for money. Can’t beat it for a family meal. Thank you
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyExcellent food and excellent service. We were the only group in on a Sunday lunchtime.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWent for a roast and my companions , one had chicken which was great , the other vegetarian and had vegetarian sausages as an alternative to meat , not what you’d expect on a roast and I had beef which was tough and disappointing. However, the veg were well cooked , plentiful and the roast potatoes were fabulous!
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortElma's never fails to deliver great food and service.
Elmas Restaurant – LymmFood excellent as usual and made to feel welcome by Karen and her team.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyExcellent food, excellent staff and great service all went to make a really enjoyable experience for my wife's birthday.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldRestaurant Review: Bacchus Restaurant – Prestbury, Cheshire Nestled in the heart of Prestbury, Cheshire, Bacchus Restaurant delivers a refined dining experience, blending modern British cuisine with elegant European influences. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere exudes understated sophistication—warm lighting, tasteful decor, and a relaxed yet polished ambiance set the tone for an enjoyable evening. The staff at Bacchus are notably attentive—welcoming without being intrusive, and consistently knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. Service flows smoothly, contributing to an overall sense of ease and professionalism throughout the meal. One standout dish was the crab with fine noodles, which showcased the kitchen’s creativity and precision. The crab was delicately balanced in flavor, complemented by the subtle texture of the noodles and a thoughtful presentation that highlighted freshness and restraint. Bacchus is a strong representation of contemporary British dining, where quality ingredients and European flair are celebrated without overwhelming the plate. It’s an excellent choice for those seeking a relaxed yet high-caliber experience in one of Cheshire’s most charming villages. Rating: ★★★★☆

Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordLovely setting and lovely food. My wife appreciated that they offered small portions and the food was really tasty. Good selection of beers as well
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamThe food and service was absolutely brilliant. We ate off the set menu and were really happy with all the starters and main courses we ordered the food was superb. The was no rush all very relaxed, calm and friendly. The staff were brilliant as we remembered them from years ago. The very best bit was we went to celebrate me daughter's 15th birthday, they brought out a brownie with a sparkler on top which totally made her evening. Thank you again. We will be back soon.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyNever judge a book by its cover. Pacinos offers quality Italian food, with a great wine, that would outshine some that charge twice the price. The lobster ravioli is the star if you find it on the specials. Nestled away from the city centre, this restaurant is about being in the know, you know.
Pacino’s – ChesterA wonderful meal with fantastic service. Despite record high temperatures of 30° the girls worked hard looking after us with a smile on their faces. A lovely venue with an excellent beer garden and great food. Thank you.
