Lunch from the Xmas menu, 18 Dec was excellent, as we expected. We always enjoy our visits to Bacchus enormously. The staff are friendly and very efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We came here on a Wednesday night with a couple of friends and well, what a lovely experience we had. Hot, fresh and delicious food, quick service for drinks and all servers were so friendly and approachable. Couldn't do enough for us! Especially with the "extra touch" the lady (I can't remember her name unfortunately) did for us with my partner's hot chocolate. Truly delightful night.

I have been going to this restaurant for more years than I care to remember. It is a hidden jewel that more people need to know about. Fine freshly cooked food, reasonably priced, great choices and excellent service from helpful friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

An enjoyable lunch, An excellent experience

Excellent chicken roast dinner. Food was plentiful and delicious. Service was really good as was the atmosphere. This was the best roast dinner I have had in a pub. I especially enjoyed the cauliflower cheese.

Had such a beautiful meal on Monday evening .. the food was excellent and so well presented … front of house michael was so polite made us so welcome the girls waiting on couldn’t fault them so polite .. great value for money to … highly recommended looking forward to out next visit . Very good experience with food, service and ambience. Excellently done bread and hummus to begin with and the pasta was on the tastiest I had after a long time. A must revisit when next time in the area.

Met my friend at Avanley. Unfortunately couldnt have Christmas meal as we didnt know to prebook..however we had the mixed grill and was lovely. Cooked just right.

Went with husband and brother n sister in law Had the best time service and food was amazing atmosphere was lovely we had the Christmas meal it was so good Charlotte the manger and Scot the head chef are both amazing work so hard to make your time at the plough perfect.

Perfect Afternoon Tea in a relaxed, festive room within the hotel. The little extra touches for the Christmas period was also lovely. I will definitely being returning and without a doubt recommend it to others.

Excellent food, would visit again

Had the Sunday roast, Turkey was lovely, carrot and turnip yummy and also cabbage, roast potatoes taste like they were made the day before and Yorkshire pudding inedible burnt and taste like ash! Friendly staff would go again but would have Sunday dinner

Table for 7 on a Saturday night. Superb food, great service, even though a hurricane had scared some off we were able to have a fantastic night. Many thanks to Burak. 5 Star !!!
