Very pleasant evening at the Greyhound Cotehill. The service was welcoming and friendly. The food and beers were enjoyable and the atmosphere very relaxed.

A lovely restaurant consistently delivers excellent food & service

I was recommended this place for a roast so thought we'd give it a try. Very disappointed with the food, in particular the roast - luke warm at best, clearly just been reheated but not well enough. Roast potatoes stale inside and nowhere near hot enough. Gravy was extrem watery. Partner got chicken wings, again luke warm. Such a disappointment. Positives the staff were very pleasant.

We can highly recommend Grants, it was one of the best meals we have had, everything was perfect from the moment we went through the door to leaving. service was great . we will be going back.

Warm and welcoming when you arrive and shown to your table promptly. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. You are ever rushed amd they give you time to decide what you want to order. Service is prompt but you are never rushed to finish your meal. Food is exquisite and done to perfection. I would certainly go back and experience the other dishes on offer.

Fabulous atmosphere and great food, shame the specials board never seems to have a vegetarian option.

Lewis's is always exceptionally good. We visit Grasmere every year and always make sure to eat at Lewis's. This year we booked a table on 2 evenings and thoroughly enjoyed both occasions. Excellent food and wine, lovely friendly staff. We brought our dog with us both nights, and he was made to feel very welcome as well. Hard to find fault with this little gem.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and attentive service. Some good gluten free options - though some more GF starters would be nice as there was only 1 choice when I dined there.

Hadn't been to Mezzaluna for quite a while, but was really pleased to see more vegetarian options and my choice was very tasty. Friendly service and reasonable prices as well.

Food was amazing, very nice menu. Wish there was a bit of music going on as it was a little erie with no noise. Service was fast and kind. Very good pricing.

We ate on 12th March having been previously a couple of years ago just before lockdown. Just as good if not better. Food and atmosphere were great and the service was very friendly and efficient. We'll be back but it won't be a 2 year wait this time!

We come to stay in Far Arnside regularly and have eaten at the Wheatsheaf a few times. The food is always lovely with lots of flavour and beautifully cooked. Reasonable price too considering the quality. Staff are pleasant and helpful and they are happy to accommodate you with what you want. Would definitely recommend.

We chose Lewis’s Bistro based on an excellent menu choice and the Tripadvisor review’s and were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent and the portions so good we couldn’t manage one of their amazing deserts. Will definitely be back
