Visited Baileys whilst on holiday in Buxton. Really friendly staff and food was delicious

Excellent food, loved that so much was sourced locally. I had the salmon and my partner had the lamb rump - they were both superbly cooked and were filling meals. Extensive drinks menu too - would highly recommend! We went on a weeknight during term time so it was quite quiet.

If you are near Brassington or en route this pub is a MUST. Wonderful atmosphere, sublime food, lovely staff and dog friendly. Definitely a pub to visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Had a wonderful meal here whilst visiting Brassington for the evening. Staff were great,very welcoming and excellent service. A beautiful pub with a great atmosphere, will definitely be coming back.

A lovely way to celebrate my birthday with my two daughters. Beautiful setting - lovely china and table decoration, delicious savoury selection and scones. Extra attention as it was my birthday. A memorable occasion.

Very good. I had the Peruvian Chicken which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the pie of the day and he said it was delicious.

Great food and atmosphere, couldn’t fault it

A dinner for our wedding anniversary which didn't disappoint. The service from welcome to departure couldn't have been better. The food was cooked to perfection, cod with curry sauce and onion bhaji goes surprisingly well. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic food, great vibe and service. The menu is steps up from the usual. I had the Catalan Fish Stew and my husband had a steak. We enjoyed our meal so much we went back the next night! A word of advice though, make sure you book ahead as you may be disappointed if you don't. It's that good.

What a fabulous evening.! Not only did we have some delicious food we also learnt so much about the history of Glossop. The food we ate tied in with the stories that were told. Clearly a lot of thought and time had gone in to the food preparation and each course was unique and very tasty. As always the three girls serving were charming, polite and enthusiastic. Matthew Cox was entertaining and so knowledgeable about Glossop and it's history. Everything about the evening was first class. Thank you for such an enjoyable time.

Outstanding food & excellent service.

2nd time visiting Baileys in the last couple of months and would struggle to find fault with anything. Food was delicious , staff are very friendly and attentive and the ambiance of the place made both visits great experiences. Good choice of beers and wines and a menu that caters for everyone. Highly recommended, Great value for money, we’ll be back !!!
