The Swan Inn – PlymouthHad a lovely meal here this week. Great food, really friendly staff and a lively pub but with a quiet restaurant- perfect place. Its like a tardis inside!
The Poltimore Inn – South Molton10/10 food drinks and service - high quality and very impressive food, not just ‘pub grub’. We had the sharer pie for two, it was huge you could probably share between three. The starters were amazing and the staff were lovely and really attentive. Definitely a great place to go with friends.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterExcellent Sunday roast. Dog friendly. Lovely atmosphere.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterGreat Sunday roast, the service was very attentive, made to feel very welcome
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWe were a group of four adults and our table was inside, on the lower level. Our waiter was Benny and he was perfect. Our food arrived piping hot, even though it had to be carried down three flights of steps. I have sympathy for the staff as this is quite a job! My sea bass fillets were delicious and so we're my chips. I was glad to find several items on the menu that weren't too spicy. My friend had the chorizo that was fiery hot with chilli. He likes fiery food but that was a level above what he expected so perhaps a bit too much. But we did enjoy our meal. The only thing I could criticise was how cold our dining room was as there was no heat and it was 11 degrees celcius draft blowing downstairs into the room. It was much warmer in the upper dining room.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthLovely food - really super delicious! Service was a little slow and we were brought a dessert menu instead of the main menu when we arrive but it was a busy Sunday and we were not in a rush so did not mind.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWonderful as always such a lovely place to go for delicious meals and amazing cocktails paired with a lovely atmosphere. Brilliant staff polite and efficient! I would recommend highly.

Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterMy Girlfriend and I attended on Valentine’s Day 2026 for our second valentines meal here in 3 years, amazing views (until it was dark and we then couldn’t see anything) food was amazing, in fact we ordered too much food so took lots home with us for the evening, we will definitely be back soon.

Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterI have eaten here many times with different friends and I have never been disappointed. The carvery is fantastic with tender meat, the beef is to die for, and a huge selection of vegetables all cooked really nicely. Last night I had the Buffalo chicken, 3 pieces with fries and a dip. Absolutely delicious and so tender and moist. The atmosphere was lovely and I can’t praise the polite staff enough. We are so lucky to have such a great local pub.
The Harbour Inn – SeatonExcellent
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterReally enjoyed the meal there. Food was excellent.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWe had a beautiful meal for my daughter’s 30th birthday. I would highly recommend the ravioli filled with crab, prawn and lobster. It was absolutely divine!. The pizzas are fantastic and the pescartore pasta dish was suberb!. Staff are extremely friendly, the restaurant has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to book again as this was our first visit.
