Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterOnly real problem: the website clearly shows a lunchtime menu at £15.95. When we got there we were told that had been 'pulled' a while ago. So one is obliged to go off the main menu. Gamberoni came on a bruschetta, why not? That was fine, but the pizza was excellent. Beautiful crisp dough. The ham consisted of two slices formed from the packet and laid entire across the top. Might be better torn up and spread out. Maybe offer some black olives or anchovy as an extra? Just ideas: the pizza already has top score. Thank you - will return.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterA hidden gem of a pub. Great atmosphere friendly chats and bar staff and food a cut above anywhere else!
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterLovely Wednesday lunchtime carvery. Have had Sundays carvery too, both are excellent. So much choice and beautifully cooked. Friendly atmosphere, excellent service.
The Harbour Inn – SeatonEnjoyed lunch for a friend’s birthday. Lovely venue and great good especially the bread and butter pudding which was absolutely delicious.
The Swan Inn – PlymouthWe had the carvery on a Wednesday lunch time, the food was excellent, fantastic choice of vegetables. We felt that the food could have been a little hotter, it wouldn’t stop us from going again.
The Harbour Inn – SeatonFantastic night (again) at THG. Allegra made the evening just brilliant with happy, prompt and courteous service. Keep going!
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWe are regulars at Maritimo and are never disappointed. We love tapas as you can choose a wonderful mixture of textures and flavours and share all the dishes so you get a taste of everything. The prawns are outstanding but every dish was delicious and nothing was left over. As always, the service was exemplary, attentive and quick without being rushed.
Maritimo Wine & Tapas – PlymouthExcellent meal, friendly staff, prompt service. Altogether good experience
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterIt was a get-together with my brother to celebrate his birthday and we travelled to Axminster from Torbay to meet up. The moment we walked in it felt very welcoming and the decor was typically Italian and rustic. We were greeted straight away and as it had just opened, we were the only ones there initially. We ordered a drink and spent time viewing the extensive menu. The food came quickly and was extremely good. We had a great time chatting and sharing food together and the atmosphere was so congenial that we felt like we could have stayed there all afternoon. It was topped off by dessert and my brother and husband happily polished off Tiramisu and Banoffee but that was a step too far for me and I just had a nice cup of tea instead! Even though we live an hours drive away, my husband said he would happily return another time and I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if my brother didn’t pop in (he lives 10 mins away) if only for the Tiramisu! Thank you for a very pleasant lunch.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterThis is not our first visit and we will be back soon , the food is fantastic and the service is so efficient and friendly this really is the place to eat in Axminster, a massive thank you to all the staff

The Swan Inn – PlymouthAbsolute superb little find! Superb food and great vegetarian options! Staff are amazing and great service! Best vegetarian roast I’ve had!
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWe had a lovely meal, the staff were very busy and we’d booked at the back end of lunchtime, yet they were attentive and informative. The food was of an excellent standard and the portion sizes equally well judged. It was a vey enjoyable experience and thanks to all the staff for their professionalism and attention to detail.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterNever been before, but had a lovely meal on 10th November whilst on holiday. Everything about Belluno was spot on from friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and great food at very reasonable prices. So much so, we are booked to come twice in early February.
Belluno Italian Axminster – AxminsterLucky to have you on our doorstep. Warm, welcoming and great quality; a perfect Thursday evening.
The Swan Inn – PlymouthVery tasty meat. However, this is still a pub. Order at the bar... we both had steak and chips at a rather high price of £36... I can't complain about how it was cooked. The steak was a rib eye cut, perfectly juicy, and cooked MR. I didn't particularly like the very greasy load of potato wedges or frisee lettuce. You are charged service at the bar when ordering wich to me, slightly defeats the point. The atmosphere was good. Warm and cosy..pub. I think the prices need to better reflect the ingredients used and that it is a pub. 3.5/5. For 2 people 1 drink 1 main £100.
The Hour Glass Inn – ExeterWe love The Hour Glass! It's the sort of pub you just don't come across often these days. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food is excellent (the black pudding scotch egg is outstanding!) and the wine llst is good (and the beer isn't bad either!). All round a great evening. Thanks to all concerned.
