Having to pay for parking has let this place down for me as the cost of £50 for two people is enough it’s just more daylight robbery

Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthIts a truly amazing restaurant. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely lovely, well cooked tasty and there is so much choice. A great experience. Good value for money too , with a great atmosphere. Well done to everyone .
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthA birthday dinner for my husband . Food was delicious we went for a variety of small plates . It was the service and interaction with ) presumably the owner / manager ) that made all the difference. We had such fun banter & were made to feel very special indeed , Thank you so much .
The Townhouse – LymingtonHad the Sunday carvery was excellent , great choice and service great happy friendly staff will definitely be back
The Master Builder – SouthamptonFantastic Sunday lunch, catered for all accessibility needs, food was amazing and staff were very friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend
The Florence – SouthseaDelicious food excellent service.
The Florence – SouthseaExcellent Sunday Lunch with superb service. Neutral decor with great ambience and background music. Slightly disappointed we were only visiting for the weekend and can’t see a return visit in the near future!
The Florence – SouthseaThis is the second time I've visited the Platform Tavern for a Sunday roast. Both times it has been delicious. I had roast beef the first time & lamb on the second visit. You get plenty of food & it's good quality. The staff are really friendly & nothing is too much trouble. The pub has a lovely atmosphere too & everyone is made to feel welcome. I will definitely return for another roast & highly recommend a visit.
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonA great roast!
The Florence – SouthseaA small group out for a Sunday roast turned into 10 people (including kids) & the pub couldn’t have been more accommodating. It was exactly the afternoon we didn’t know we needed. Excellent roast and great service from all. Will absolutely be coming again, feels like we have stumbled on a little gem. Thank you
The Florence – SouthseaWe went for Sunday lunch with visiting guests from overseas. Reception upon arrival was attentive and jovial. Seated immediately. Had a variety of waiting staff attend to us for drinks and meal order. Later on when more tables in the service was a little more delayed but still friendly. We had the roast beef roast dinners which was was excellent and loads on the plate. Would have liked to have known if they offered a child's portion for one of our senior guests as couldn't finish this portion. Disappointed that they did not gave any brandy in stock at the bar. Staff was very apologetic and happy the offer other suggestions. Overall it was an enjoyable lunch out in the New Forest. We will recommend and come back again as the weather warms up.
East End Arms – LymingtonWe went to the seahorse for Sunday lunch. The food was better than average - in fact it was very good. We had the steak pie and roast lamb. But the ambience was not so good - the restaurant was very cold as the heating was off and it was a cold March day. There wasn’t any feeling of coziness to counteract the chill. The staff however were efficient and service was good. A pity - the food was very good but we rushed home to warm up!
The Seahorse – GosportEverything worked beautifully
East End Arms – LymingtonWould not recommend food there very poor quality currys no taste at all runny watered down And other food didnt taste fresh waste of money
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthOn Saturday 29th March, my best friend and I went to The Florence for lunch, and honestly, it was just what we needed. We were shown to a lovely, clean table straight away, and the decor is absolutely beautiful — it really sets the tone. We ordered food and cocktails, and everything was just as good as it looked. The cocktails were gorgeous, and what I really loved was that we didn’t feel rushed at all. It genuinely felt like we could just sit back, relax, and enjoy our time properly. We ended up having a really good catch-up, getting a lot off our chests — and it turns out that was exactly what we both needed. The waitress was brilliant; she gave us space but checked in at just the right times to make sure we were okay. The staff overall were attentive without being overbearing, which made such a difference. We didn’t even realise how much time had passed — we were there from 1:30 in the afternoon until 7:30 in the evening, which says it all really. Food was exceptional, the owner was lovely, the staff were polite and on it, and the decor just ties it all together x
The Florence – SouthseaExcellent food, value for money and very nice ambience. Will visit again. The only flip side was the Gents washroom which was in pathetic shape
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthExcellent as always. Friendly and helpful staff together with wonderful tasty food - the creamy garlic mushrooms were a level above- made our outing with my mum a very memorable lunchtime treat. Thank you
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonExcellent meal on a Thursday evening in a pretty busy restaurant and great breakfast the next morning. The staff were extremely good on both occasions. I would recommend. This is the second time we have visited and stayed over and the previous time was good too. The bar in the pub had a very busy and cheerful / noisy atmosphere early evening which we enjoyed.
