The Half Moon – PetersfieldThis was our second time booking a Sunday carvery at the master builder. We enjoyed it só much the first time we knew we wanted to come back back again and it did not disappoint. Staff are really friendly, the system is super simple, you pay at the till pick up your Sunday roast, the meats are fresh, the veggies are plentiful and the gravy is delicious. It was a great atmosphere and clearly lots and lots of locals coming and enjoying this every week.
The Master Builder – SouthamptonGreat food, great atmosphere,
The Half Moon – PetersfieldFirst time had a carvery at master builder Was absolutely amazing Food excellent Service excellent Loved our chat with landlord friendly guy Definitely be back
The Master Builder – SouthamptonHad such a great meal and experience we had to try it again. Very well cooked pub food.
The Chequers Inn – LymingtonBeautiful setting with a lovely dark ambiance. Noah was so friendly and polite, and helped us with our order. The food came out quickly and was absolutely stunning — even my husband, who usually isn’t a fan of fish, said the sushi dish was his favourite! We picked 3 mains each and the portion sizes were perfect for this style of dining. Would definitely recommend and return. I also loved that the tip is included on the bill — it makes things so much easier and clearly states it goes to all staff. Thanks again!!
Pacifico – SouthseaFirst time trying Pacifico and I'm not sure it's on my list to go back to. Staff were excellent and very attentive and were very helpful with making suggestions. The food came out fast and and was nice enough. I may have been there at the wrong time but when booking I had tried to book for 7:30pm but that wasn't an option which was weird as we were there from 6:45pm and in that time we were one of only three tables and no ones else came in till 8pm. Value for money wasn't great if I'm honest. For a tapasy place the price point was higher than I expected and the portion size on drinks was heavily on the small side. In summary there are other restaurants doing similar things but better in close proximity.
Pacifico – SouthseaWe booked a large table to celebrate a birthday. The staff were great, allowing us to stay in the bar for drinks before dinner and the service throughout was superb. The menu options and food were delicious. We all had a really enjoyable evening. Will be back again soon, thank you
East End Arms – LymingtonLovely new decor in an old bank. Very good venue & atmosphere. Food was ok , wine & cocktails very good. Service was excellent
Pacifico – SouthseaWell presented and delicous food served in a refreshingly relaxed atmosphere whilst still retaining a sense of classiness,. Will definitely be visiting again.
Baja Mexicali – FarehamHi, we attended the restaurant on Sunday 3rd May, the ambience is lovely and the service is excellent. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our Sunday roast quite as much, the pork was too well done to the point that you hardly cut it as it was so hard. Some of us found the roast potatoes too hard again to cut, we also found that there were too many conflicting flavours on our plate, the carrots was glazed and the cabbage had some sort of like a vinaigrette, we ordered a portion of cauliflower cheese and this had no taste but also a lot of unidentifiable black bits in it. We were quite disappointed as we have had Sunday lunch before and really enjoyed it, it was a bit of a disappointment to be honest.
The Florence – Southseavisited with a party of 3 for a Sunday meal, table booked for 1pm and at 2pm had been told that need table back in 10 minutes, this was not communicated to as at all in any way, very disappointing. We wanted to stay and have another drink and told can go to bar area, unfortunately only table that was left had been a high table and chairs that my 83 year old mum couldn’t sit at! Poor management of tables and very disappointed of this, outcomes will no longer come back to the establishment due to poor service and lack of managing bookings! Not impressed
The Florence – Southsea3rd visit in a coupke of weeks , this time with my grand children , all enjoyed the food and variety
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthThe Florence serves one of the very best Sunday lunches you can get anywhere. We visit every couple of months and it's consistently superb. The atmosphere is always really good - with great music which doesn't drown out conversation. The people are friendly. The service we received yesterday wasn't as discrete as usual. It felt a bit abrupt although it was friendly.
The Florence – Southsea6 of us had a lovely evening with a meal and gig. would come again.
The Platform Tavern – Southampton
