Went there for my daughter’s birthday with some of her friends. Great choice of food and tasted great.

Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthWe have stayed and eaten at the East End Arms on about 6 or more occasions and have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and good pub food and wine at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend both staying and eating there. My only complaint is it can become pretty noisy if the restaurant is full and you are unlucky enough to be close the loud table.
East End Arms – LymingtonThis was our first visit, and we had an enjoyable Mothers Day lunch. We were booked for 2pm. We arrived a little early. You pay downstairs. The lady said £48… when it was actually £47.98, but hey ho! She didn’t introduce the restaurant or offer any guidance… so we just headed upstairs! A server took our receipt and pointed out our table. Since it was our first time… a little guidance might have been helpful… but I guess it’s self explanatory… get plate. Get food! I enjoyed the food. I’m vegetarian and was worried by some reviews… but I had plenty to eat! I opted for udon noodles, mushrooms, broccoli, tofu, chips, and a few slices of pizza. All very tasty. In fact, mushrooms were amazing! The carvery looked disappointing… potatoes and carrots seemed to be the extent of it! I’m not a curry fan… so I didn’t try this. I tried a little mac cheese, which was a bit bland. Pizza was nice, but all gone when I went for another slice! Puddings pretty good… loved the Eton mess! Cleanliness was good… except maybe a few spills by the puddings. Overall, I enjoyed the food. It was £23.99 per head… maybe a little pricey… but I feel I got my money’s worth! Service wasn’t great for friendliness. But I could see staff working hard to keep food topped up and areas clean. Overall… I was happy enough.

Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthVery nice pub and meal. Good atmosphere and pleasant staff too.
East End Arms – LymingtonBeen here a few times now normally it’s ok food usually an edible standard but we went there yesterday as a party of 7 for Mother’s Day and this will most definitely be the last time we ever go the food was watery I.e the curry’s was like meat in a puddle of sauce and tasted vial most the trays were empty had some chicken wings and thought there quite nice thought I’d go back and get more as was practically the only edible food in there and when I got more it was nothing like the first ones I had chicken was like slimey took one bite and was nearly sick I could only apologise to everyone at the table as got to of been one of the worse experiences with food I have ever had and after spending just over £150 I expect expected a lot better
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthWe came for mothers day. The restaurant has great decor, comfy seats amazing food and great staff. Was impossible to find fault with anything
The Florence – SouthseaHad a great afternoon with delicious food and fabulous entertainment from Stompin Dave. Such an incredible talent
The Platform Tavern – SouthamptonThis is the best carvery we all had lovely for mothers day I am happy we will be having more carvery and more meals just lovely staff so helpful i felt lovely and cosy and its fills like a country pub thank you so much excellent service thank you
The Master Builder – SouthamptonWe visited for the first time and had such an amazing experience. The waitress was so helpful with allergies and the food and cocktails were amazing. Will definitely visit again.
Baja Mexicali – FarehamDelicious food and great atmosphere as always
Baja Mexicali – FarehamHad a lunch yesterday which was really not of a good standard, the burger was sent back as overcooked and tough and fish and chips was at best average with more batter than fish and peas like bullets. Had a drink in bar first which needs a good clean and it was tatty rather than cosy. The young male member of staff was very pleasant but the blonde female was very indifferent and unwelcoming. Sure this pub has a loyal clientele but very glad it’s not our local .
East End Arms – LymingtonAs usual the food was excellent, and the service friendly and professional.
The Half Moon – PetersfieldWe were able to book a table for 10 quite easily which is not always the case with pubs these days. Staff were very friendly and food was good and value for money. I would recommend this pub.
The Master Builder – SouthamptonThe family has not been for a while. We felt the quality had dropped. Sauces were thin and barely had taste. Less fruit in Eton Mess than previously. Dishes were ok but lacking flavour punch. We possibly chose a time when some Dishes were nearly empty. Good to see Tepinyaki open, but choice poor. Otherwise ok. Ps: toilet doors still have locking issues on some, which was the same last summer. Not sorted!
Spoon World Buffet and Bar – PortsmouthHad Sunday lunch at East End Arms and it was delicious, the service was great and we will definitely be returning
East End Arms – LymingtonDuring a great stay with local friends we went to the East End Arms twice for Sunday lunch. Small menu but it works so well. Beautifully cooked and great portions. Thank you we had a great time on both visits. I’m sure we’ll be back.
