Friendly professional service. Food was great,. Really lovely atmosphere

We arrived at 19:40 for our table at 20:00 and as we opened the door what I believe it is the shift leader asked “You do not have a reservation, do you?” which I responded yes but at 8pm and we are a bit early. Well, your table is noy ready, come back later, I was told which I responded that is ok we will come back. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and I understand what dealing with customers is, if you are tired of a long day dealing with people or you want to go home early and a table for 3 is an inconvinience to you on a Monday after 8pm, you might want to change job or career. I only came back because my children were really looking forward to the food. My children and I come often to the area as one of the companies I work for has a lovely Spa hotel close by. In the end the food was lovely and the lady that mainly served us was very professional.

Went for Sunday roast, which was a proper roast, we both enjoyed it. Staff was really nice, too. Plus bonus, some music.

We ate here for valentines night and we had the tasting menu. The staff were really attentive and gave us time between courses when needed. The atmosphere was lgood and the table was decorated really nicely. All the courses were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious and the wine pairing worked well. The courses were really well thought out and if I could have picked a menu with all my favourite foods it would have been this . A wonderful evening, will definitely return.

Ladies lunch on Wednesday 11th February 7 of us, we were very impressed with everything, newly decorated, clean and inviting, lovely fire. Meals were all very nice, we choose the small plates, tasty and enough. Staff nice and friendly, good prices. We had one small hiccup, 3 meals had peas, they were all cold, we thought they had forgotten to heat them ? Quickly sorted out, the 3 diners were all given a complimentary desert , perfect .

A visit to BAJA never disappoints. Definitely a firm family favourite for us. Delicious food, freshly prepared and excellent service from the team.

Fabulous Sunday roast and the best sticky toffee pudding. If I hadn’t been so full up I would’ve liked another!!!

We visited for Sunday lunch: food was excellent - good sized portions and choice. Staff were friendly, helpful. Service was great too. We'll definitely be going back.

6 of us visited Saturday evening and all were agreed the meal was superb especially the lasagna the best I've had anywhere staff were great as well,will certainly have more family get togethers I would highly recommend this pub for great food and good value

From the moment we walked in the door the welcome was warm & friendly, sorry missed the young ladies name, but she was bubbly & fun, service was great, Joes pizzas still fabulous. Look forward to going back soon.

Have visited many times to eat. Always a warm reception, staff very friendly and helpful. Food always excellent and really good value.
