Absolutely lovely roast dinner!

First visit to Spoons, Turned out to be quite a busy place. Although the whole Resaurant is enclosed it did not feel claustrophobic. Very airy, light and bright. Ventilation system excellent. Welcome and Service was very good information given by our server very clear and precise. The selection of food was fantastic, Hot Food, Description of Dishes clear. Definitely good value for money. Will definitalely be returning, in fact have already booked for a party of 25 early April.

My birthday meal with the gf and my parents, it was there first visit. Food was excellent as always and the area is always clean n freshly topped up. My parents enjoyed it and stayed they're going again, so we'll say no more

Great good great service we will be back

We go regularly for a carvery on a Sunday and it really is the best around. Great choice of meats, perfectly cooked vegetables, friendly service from everyone there, we have booked for Mother’s Day as it really is the only place I’d go now, well done all!

Nice atmosphere but was very cold in the restaurant while we were there The food that was there was lovely and hot but a lot of the food containers were empty which was disappointing No roast on offer as it was empty and there was no kebabs as they are advertised on the website was very disappointed It was a visit for my daughters birthday so she was quite upset

Was really good the only complaint was the rice was a bit dry but apart from that the service was amazing food was great.

As always, a first-class meal! Staff are always pleasant and welcoming! The beers are always well-kept!! A very enjoyable experience every time!

Absolutely LOVE coming here, food has always been excellent, being able to try such a variety and my ND daughter has really extended her palette due to Spoon. Value for money is great, service is excellent and will continue to come regularly. 4/5 on atmosphere is the music is sometimes loud, along with the blowers and thats just from a Sensory aspect.

Our food was superb, one of the best meals we have ever had, our waiter was really friendly and knowledgeable, will definitely return when we are back in Portsmouth.

We had a fantastic meal at the half moon recently. The staff were amazing and the food was fantastic. My gluten free fish and chips was the best I’ve ever tasted and my husbands steak was also delicious too I would highly recommend the half moon it’s a friendly, happy and joyful place to eat
