Absolutely brilliant restaurant. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Felt like royalty from the minute I entered until the minute I left.

Cove Tandoori – FarnboroughWow , possibly the best Indian Restaurant I have encountered!Have sampled many of the Indian restaurants in southsea and this has to be one of the best. Staff are friendly , excellent atmosphere and also the food is amazing!!Prices are also reasonable!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Kadir’s Indian Street Kitchen – SouthseaWe always come her for great value tex mex, they have generous portions and the garlick bread is fantastic. The bright Americana decor lends itself to a great atmosphere.
Buffalo Bills Restaurant – SouthamptonAfter late night Christmas shopping and feeling very hungry we came across Panda Chinese Restaurant, 20-21 Bedford Place, Southampton. Very disappointing meal!! My wife ordered 'crispy chow mein' which was a mixed meat dish. The crispy noodles were the only 'slightly edible' part! Meat was poor quality and in a tasteless jelly like sauce. I ordered a chicken with cashews dish which actually had the same sauce as my wifes! My wife told the waitress/manager that she couldn't eat it and would appreciate it being taken off my bill. She refused, even after I stated our rights as the customer! £30 down later and still with an empty stomach, we left..........unhappy customers, wouldn't return or recommend it!!!!
Panda Chinese Restaurant – SouthamptonFantastic value for money, friendly, efficient & very 'french' service and a lovely Wine Bar (also belonging to Truffles) located next door where had our pre-dinner drinks and then brandy's afterwards! Fabulous all round, a definite must.......
Truffles – Southseatook my wife to miguels last week the first time for both of us in a Spanish restaurant ,what a load of rubbish it was, apple pie and cream ,bread and butter pudding ,English fish haha not Spanish,it would help if you are Spanish, as the Spanish people got good service, the English did not, miguels is an overblown cafe
Caffexpresso – SouthamptonWhat a shame! I ate here regularly when I was a trainee medic some 20 odd years ago. It is so disappointing to find that this restaurant, which used to be so welcoming and exciting is now so depressing. I ate their alone tonight having found myself on business in the area and was the only customer for the duration of my visit. The service was surly and uninterested, despite my attempted conversation. The food was, sadly mediocre in the extreme.
Natee Tip Thai Restaurant – Gosportwent to visit friends in lymington, popped in to lanes of lymington for a early dinner before going out, was about 6 45. was greeted by a lovely lady called Nicola who and her husband run this establishment, i had scallops which were very lovely cooked and moist followed by duck breast which was so succulent it was amazing and the way the food was presented it was fantastic. sorry was too full to try the sweets but by looking at the list was very good and all the ice creams are i believe home made m just wished i had more space to try them but really enjoyed the food , service and was not badly priced at all . so to the proprietors i take my hat off to you both was a very pleasant meal and thanks again really enjoyed it very much, and hope to be back that way soon
Lanes of Lymington – Lymingtondelicious food, quick service, very reasonably priced.brilliant value.
Natee Tip Thai Restaurant – GosportThe Woodvale Hotel is a very nice establishment. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food has been very good, on each occasion we have been. The menu is also flexible, you could add extras which aren't listed under that meal, whereas other restaurants will serve only what the menu says. Prices for food were good, and on the whole, a very enjoyable and relaxing place to be.
The Woodvale Hotel – Isle of WightAfter coming to the Isle of Wight for over 30 years, The Old Fort must have been the absolute worst meal we have ever had on the Island. We waited for over half an hour for 2 Sausage and Chips, and a Tuna Baguette. Me and my son couldn't even bring ourselves to eat the sausage, as it looked completely uncooked. We will definitely never go back there, as we fear receiving food poisoning from the disgustingly prepared food. If you can even call it that. We expected more from an establishment in Seaview, but we were proven wrong. I hope others will take this into consideration, and avoid it at all costs.
The Old Fort Bar Cafe – Isle of Wighton the 13th of august i made the biggest mistake of my life by recommending 6 of my closest friends for a meal at your restaurant. 3 weeks later they are all still in hospital shitting blood,(and you should be shitting bricks) a letter from my solicitor Mr Nickolas Hannides should have found your door mat by know n legal proceedings following very shortly. many thanks,
La Dolce Vita – Southamptondon't go there food is shit(cook from frozen) very expensive service is crap and 0.33 beer is 3.30£ I had tiger prawns for 14.50£ on 30.08.08 and that was the worst dish i ever eat(cook from frozen and arrived cold with iceberg lettuce???? they can't even do chips properly9 (reheated and soggy)
Nick’s Restaurant – SouthamptonFab meal as always. Best Italian food outside of Italy. Pizza's are fantastic and authentic, puddings are wonderful. Beautiful little restaurant set in Shanklin Old Town. Ensure you book and ask for a downstairs table.
Pavarotti’s – Isle of Wighthad a great meal good cooked food and very friendly staff what more do you want when your out for a meal
The George Inn – WaterloovilleThis is a great place to eat. I was really impressed with how they were with the kids too. Well priced and tasty, I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Sapori Restaurant – Lee On The SolentVery comprehensive and reasonably priced menu. We had one of the best Indian meals I can remember. Started with Quail and samosas then two chicken curries between us a passanda and kasmiri with basmati rice and pashwari naans. Absolutely delicious and all testing very fresh and vibrant. The house white wine was fine. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. We will go there again.
Lal Quilla Restaurant – LymingtonBooked the restaurant for a friends bday, was a bit apprehensive as had never been before but was recommended by a friend. Really glad I booked it as the service was very friendly and we all enjoyed the food, they even gave us a free dessert! They make the best cocktails and really made sure we had a good time. Would definitely go back for more!
