Excellent lunch on a dreary rainy day. Lovely friendly welcome, efficient service and great food. I had the Ham Hock Autumn special which came with creamy mustard mash and a nice dish of perfectly cooked vegetables. Mum had the Steak & Ale Pie. Both dishes nicely presented and delicious. At no time did we feel rushed and enjoyed our lunch at a slow pace. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked - delicious. I don't think that we left a crumb between us!
