Absolutely superb food. We go at least once a month and every time its brilliant.

A friend of the family have been raving about the brilliant 'Tuesday Lunchtime Deal' at Verdes in Eccleston where any Pasta or Pizza is only £6.95. My wife and decided to give it a try and so glad we did. The Management, Staff, Food, Service and Atmosphere was amazing. I thought the portions may be smaller as it's only £6.95 but I was wrong, full size tasty portions were brought to our table with a smile.

Every single thing about this meal was perfect. The staff were all really friendly and had great sense of humour even when I referenced our waitress that a guy in the bar had a similar ponytail. She took it really well and the banter from then was fantastic. The food was the best pub food in the area by a mile and the price was great value for such a high standard of quality and service

What a wonderful meal we had as a family here. Superb food, excellent service and very pleasant staff. A great menu to choose from. Would highly recommend the Lunesdale arms

We booked a table for 6 for a birthday meal. We waited around 15 minutes to give a drinks order and another 10 to do food. We waited 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive, they arrived as the starters were delivered. We waited around long time for the main meal with one served cold, missing a side from another and 1 meal delivered 10 mins after the rest. We had to flag down a server to get cutlery and condiments. Overall disappointing experience, service poor and food very average.

Beautiful setting / lovely views - the food was hot and very tasty and the desserts were lovely too - similar price to other pub venues but food here much better. We visit regularly but it was the first time we had taken my mum and dad. They were very impressed with everything. Highly recommended.

Great service, staff very attentive and welcoming. Tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and worth every penny! Fantastic!

Definitely recommend! Massive shoutout to Tasha & Sam who was on shift when we visited they also recommended the bianco steak which was delicious .

Our favourite venue in Penwortham. The food is excellent and a level above most other offerings around. The service was first class - attentive but not overbearing and the atmosphere is always great. The venue is quite small and gets busy at times so book ahead.

Excellent Sunday roasts. Fresh, nice home cooked meal delivered by friendly, welcoming service, great Sunday afternoon treat. Lovely coffee to finish off a great meal. Look forward to being back soon.

Booked Sunday Lunch rather Disappointed with the meal Food tepid warm veg hard Roast Potatoes hard to Ordered a sticky Toffee Pudding which seemed like a slice of fruit cake with honey drizzled on it so disappointed with the dessert too Even though the place was empty so staff not under massive pressure to serve many customers

Excellent all round! Great service great food and great atmosphere couldn’t fault it and will be returning soon
