Had a pizza starter between us was pretty decent tbh a little greasy but overall good. My partner had a lasagna and rated it 6/10 I had a carbonara and couldn’t eat it as it was quite salty a rich.

No Arrabbiata had it for years taken off the menu

This is one of my parents favourite places, spent the afternoon there celebrating my Dads birthday. My Dad enjoyed several pints of the Ploughs finest Thwaites Amber brew….

Great food and amazing staff!

Sadly this is the second disappointing visit in recent months. Today we arrived at 7.15 and waited for 20 minutes for drinks. We then continued to wait for our order to be taken. After another 15 minutes the waitress informed us there were a large number of items unavailable. When we visited on a Sunday a few weeks ago, by 5.30 there were no roasts left. Neither was there fish pie, lamb or mixed grill. Both times we ended up with burgers which were ok but not what we had gone for. Very disappointed and will sadly not be giving it a third chance. Plenty of other local pubs and restaurants that we currently feel are providing a better service.

Took my friend for her birthday , food was excellent we both had monkfish, clams , mussels & prawns in a garlic sauce . The service was great & friendly lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend going.

An absolutely delicious freshly made meal was enjoyed by us all. My husband had the bacon chop, our friend the chicken Caesar salad and I the beef brisket and pancetta roly poly. Our two puddings were the honeycomb cheesecake and dark chocolate and banana Eton Mess. Each dish was an absolute joy to eat! Clearly quality ingredients and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting … and all the tables were full. We will definitely look forward to returning. Thank you for serving beautiful food (and at sensible prices), it is appreciated.

Excellent food and service. Great lunch with plenty of choice.

We went for lunch. Decided on the small plates so we had four between two and it’s was perfect. Such lovely food. All presented well and we really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back. Think I’d order the same!! Service very good and good atmosphere.

I visited Papa Luigi’s with a friend on Tuesday 2nd June. The Restaurant is a lovely place and the Staff were Impeccable. We opted for the 2 course Lunch deals. I had stuffed mushrooms followed by beef stroganoff- they were Delicious!! I highly recommend this venue-5 Stars! Thankyou.

Food was lovely, staff are friendly and the environment was relaxing and calm. We had a lovely time!

Excellent value for money and lovely pizzas. We had pizzas at only £6.95 each. It was my great nieces 3rd birthday and the staff brought her ice cream with a candle and sang to her which made her day. Lovely setting with duck pond to keep the kiddies occupied. Food , ambiance and staff excellent. Had a lovely time and never felt rushed.
