Recently had a meal with family, including children. Some children have adult tastes and dont want to eat nuggets etc. Some improvement with the kids menu would be good. Adult meals were ok but I did say the lamb was very fatty, which was evident from what was left on the plate. My meal should also have had butter beans in it and didnt. Top side of value for money Service was also very slow but staff friendly

Bread and Butter – PrestonThis is the second time I have been here and both times have been perfect. The setting is lovely with a large car park and lovely outdoor seating area. We were a party of 7 and ordered a variety of meals which were cooked fresh and all arrived together. The fish and chips are amazing but all meals were of a very high quality. Service was exceptional with all staff being efficient, friendly and going that extra step to make our experience special. Thank you
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleEnjoyed a wonderful meal with friends at the Italian Cottage last Saturday evening. Great choice on the menu and lovely to see the fresh fish options. Started with lovely Hugo Spritz cocktails. The goats cheese starter with beetroot and walnuts was absolutely delicious as was the perfectly cooked lemon sole with butter and caper sauce. Everyone enjoyed their meals which were beautifully presented. We will definitely return.

Decor was well thought out. We will be back for an evening meal which will be special especially in the main dining room.

The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWell I really wanted to give a glowing review as I did for the meal we received on Sunday 28th June 2026, but unfortunately I can’t. We had two beef roast dinners as last time, but it was no where near as good. Broccoli was too hard and the cauliflower cheese was hard too and nowhere near as good as last time, the cheese sauce looked n tasted rather gloppy like it had been made from a packet, unfortunately. The meat was also not as good as last time hard to cut. Looked amazing when it was brought to the table, but it was disappointing to be honest. We will go again to give it another try though. Service was very good from the girls.

The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenI have been coming to Quattros for over 25 years and always found it excellent. Unfortunately on Saturday 22nd August I went for a meal with my brother and sister in law. The table I was allocated was dreadful and I had to be careful I did not bang my head on the serving counter. The meal was really not good. I had the insallato quattros salad the chicken was dry, there was hardly any pancetta or parmesan shavings all covered with an excess of salad. My sister in law had calamari which was rubbery and not cooked well, she then had duck a l'orange which was not very nice and the orange sauce was very bitter. We ordered some hot water which never arrived. Overall a very disappointing experience, which has made me question how long it will be to return.
