Great food and service A very enjoyable evening

My partner and I had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We will definitely be returning.

We came to bread and butter on Saturday night after it being recommended to us. The food was very very average and the service was also average. There was nobody at all else in but we felt rushed and was asked ‘can I take any plates’ whilst we were still grazing (tapas) and it wasn’t as if any of the plates were in the way etc It’s nice to see the kitchen but I didn’t appreciate listening to the chefs chatting loudly and swearing whilst we were with my toddler. There was also different music in the kitchen to the restaurant which was overstimulating!

The weather was honking, we parked up around the rear and walked in to the subtly lit bar and were greeted by a friendly face, who, on introduction took us to a table for two. We were served very quickly we skipped starters and went straight for the main courses. Carmel had a beautiful filet steak and I had a prawn and chorizo Linguine. Both were delicious. Desert was a right mess, strawberry Eton to be precise, big portions beautiful flavours, fantastic evening, thanks for the great service, beautiful food and wonderful ambience.

Delicious food as always and lovely service. One issue. We weren’t aware of a 10% service charge automatically added to bill.

Had dinner with 7 friends on Thursday. We were all very impressed with all the food and service. I had the piri piri half chicken . Very tasty and large portions. Moderately priced and good value.

We had a meal here on Thursday 10th September, the food was amazing and the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place! So well run so well organised for monthly events and the food was exceptional!

Fantastic hot food lovely people working who couldn't do enough to help. Met the chef who advised what was and wasn't gluten free made me fresh gluten free alternatives to what was offered. Will definitely be back again . Thank you

Booked a family meal mid week to see my Niece off before she goes to Uni. Table of 9 people, service, food, and friendly atmosphere all excellent. Multiple steaks on the orders including some of the family on mixed grills and all cooked to perfection.

Attended with friends we received a very friendly warm welcome and most tables were full. Very good happy atmosphere.
