Lovely food as always. One of our favourite restaurants and welcoming staff.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyFood was really tasty, although a few of the chips were rather overdone. The problem we had was the temperature. It was cold and drafty, made worse by the kitchen door being open ? To allow steak fumes to exit. Unfortunately when asked about a change to an alternative table this could not be facilitated and we were told all tables were taken …. Even though there were many free at the time . Really disappointed in the response and inability/unwillingness to resolve to make the dining experience comfortable.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenWhat a great place. Found from reading Ribble Valley magazine. The food was fantastic, great atmosphere and staff. We will definitely be going back and have no hesitation to recommend to family and friends
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenThe service was dreadful. The atmosphere was ok and the food was not bad but also not very good. Too much of the food is tinned and ghastly added colouring. But a slow and surly waiter who was unobliging in every respect is disappointing. We are looking for a more welcoming Indian restuarant in Lancaster.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterJust moved to Rawtenstall 3 months ago. 1st time here and definitely not the last. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great. Lovely and helpful staff. A must from from me. We was a party of 4 and everyone loved it. Lits of choice, both wines and menu. See you soon
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallVisited the restaurant'before and returned, wasn't disappointed. Fantastic food and great service, would definitely recommend.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeSuperb food in an amazing atmosphere. The arancini are better than anything you’ll find in Sicily!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFabulous food as always, every visit is excellent. 5* for sure
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeHad lunch with my mum here for the first time. Food was spot on as was the service and very reasonably priced. We'll definitely go again
The Traders Arms – BlackburnAmazing food and great service as always
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe food was absolutely fantastic, each course was delicious and we sampled a lot of the menu. Great service as well. My only ask would be to spread out the courses to give you timer to enjoy and not be so full early on. By the time we had finished in just an hour we didn’t have the room for any further drinks and would have liked to have doesn’t more time in the restaurant having some relaxing drinks. That apart , the food service and atmosphere is top notch and i would recommend anyone to give it a try
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallVisited and ate again as part of our small work lunch gathering. As always, top notch food, service, ambience, and the staff topped it all. Well recommended. Thanks guys and hope to see you all again soon.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnWonderful evening at bread and butter food amazing and waiter excellent very attentive couldn't ask for a better evening definitely be back the tapas menu lots of choice.
Bread and Butter – PrestonWe had a very peaceful overnight stay on the car park in our camper after eating at the Shepherds Rest. Great winter warmer specials menu for a very decent price. Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff, will be visiting again thank you. Stunning views all around.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenMy friends and I visited Papa Luigis on Thurs 30th Jan 2025. We had a lovely meal .We were greeted as soon as we were arrived we shown to the bar area ,,given menus to look over. They were very busy but 10 minutes after we arrived we were shown to our table. Our order was taken and our garlic bread arrived in no time, very delicious. The mains which we ordered were very tasty and delicious too. We also had a pudding to share as we were all extremely full.We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine too . It was my friends birthday, I'd brought a cake ,the waitresses brought it to her all singing 'Happy Birthday '. Overall it was a lovely meal, the service was very good and everyone was polite and helpful.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyWe came on Thursday 30th the food was lovely really good value, the only slight problem was the service it was a little disjointed I realise when having Tapas the dishes will come out as and when they are ready, however 2 of our party had the steaks which we amazing just a shame we had eaten nearly all the tapas before the steaks were delivered,we had to keep asking for drinks top ups etc. The staff did a really good job but just seemed that everything fell to one member of staff. This will not stop us coming again just a little constructive critism
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenFood very good, service excellent considering the pressure on the limited staff, who worked tirelessly and at a pace to take orders, serve drinks and food as well as the bar and till. Well done ladies. The steak pie was really flavoursome and chunky chips, perfect. We will visit again soon.
