Lovely food as previously. We were a table of 4 and had various choices, all delicious. The Spanish hash and shredded beef starters are a special favourite. Currently our favourite restaurant.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleFirst time eating here, food was absolutely delicious, we opted for the Thursday steak deal and it meat was cooked to perfection. The chips…. Well, I’ve never tasted chips as good!
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenThe food here is absolutely wonderful, the place is great inside and out. I had some small plates and each one was incredibly delicious. My companions loved their steaks. Cocktails and wine superb. Service was great. It's not cheap, but you're paying for the best.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenLovely Brunch! The food was delicious.
Bread and Butter – PrestonGreat food, presentation was very high standard. Friendly efficient staff, would definitely recommend. And look forward to going back.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenWe've not been to the Shepherds Rest for years and I must say the food was absolutely amazing. Really pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back soon.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenA really lovely evening, once again, at this super little restaurant. We hadn’t been in a good while, but the food, service and atmosphere was as excellent as ever. Don’t go expecting anything ‘fancy’ it’s good, traditional, rustic Mediterranean food, simple and lovingly cooked, as it should be, and, importantly for me, it’s consistent at all this. Oh, and good value too. Well done to all the team. Highly recommend for a relaxed and very tasty supper.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeFirst visit. Friday evening, was surprised how busy (trouble finding somewhere to park) restaurant was. Visit was slightly marred by a noisy family (?) group (felt like we had stumbled into a Mc Donalds) however atmosphere improved once they had left. Both service and meal were good. Will return but request a table away from the 'party' area.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe had an amazing meal, great service and a good mix of tasty options. Chef and server went out of their way to make me a dish from their evening menu at lunch time. I can thoroughly recommend the goats cheese and onion tart. My friend had the smashed burger and really enjoyed it. We were sad to see the shelters have gone near the playground or we would have stayed longer.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenSo this was my 1st time sonce it re opened. I booked on line but this was not found on the system. It was ok because i was found a table. The feeling i got whilst watching staff, it was dis organised. We asked what soup was on the waiter said oh i dont know il musplaced my note pad, proceeded to look for pad rather than just pop to kitchen which in end i think he did. Food was good, I had steak n ale pie, husband had cheese n onion. Husband advised his was amazing but not enough. The steak n ale had carrots and mushrooms in! This was not advised and for me it was fine but my husband does not like mushrooms so maybe this should be mentioned when ordering. The item my mum wanted wasn't available so she opted for the soup with grilled cheese. Which was vegetable. She said the soup just tasted like it had been thickened with a lot of corn flour. Overall it wasn't bad it's a friendly atmosphere but feel a bit more organisation would help with the service, ie from being seated, asking whether been before, how the process works etc.
Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonAlways lovely.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeLove Rileys. Our favourite chilling place in Chorley. Food and drinks amazing. Staff friendly and attentive. Always clean. Dog friendly. Toilets are spotless. Great atmosphere
Rileys Taproom and Wine Bar – ChorleyFantastic food as always, we had the Rib Eye, and mum had the lamb chops. We also ordered a cheesy garlic bread to take home. Cannot complain. Service was fantastic and friendly environment.
