Another delicious meal at the Lunesdale Arms! Prompt service and relaxed atmosphere. Always a pleasure!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleBest afternoon tea on the market! Afternoon tea isn’t necessarily my favourite lunch option, tend to find it a bit boring, but not at Bread & Butter, it’s amazing, had it a few times now, always have to take some of it home as there’s always too much to eat in one go. Venue is nice and staff are lovely. Highly recommend
Bread and Butter – PrestonFantastic atmosphere; attentive, efficient and friendly staff; fabulous food and drinks.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWasn’t too impressed. Mushroom starters were undercooked and pizza base was uneven so cooked at thin part and doughy were was thick. Not been for a long time so I may just have been unlucky.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyLovely food as always, been many times over the years and I’ve always enjoyed our meals. Lovely food, nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Will go again definitely.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyLovely restaurant, great decor. Fantastic food, hardworking friendly staff, providing a great service. We went on a Thursday, glad we booked, as it was packed out.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWent for lunch with friends. Food was lovely, there was a lot to choose from on the menu. Service was very good. Will definitely be returning.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallBeen many times before as never disappoints Lovely food, large portions, friendly obliging staff and nice atmosphere. Also easy to book online
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFirst visit. Food excellent in a friendly atmosphere. Will be visiting again!
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenGreat menu with lots of choice and great service
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFantastic food, great service. 1st visit will not be the last
Quattro’s – OrmskirkOur first evening visit to Bread and Butter was nothing short of fantastic—and definitely won’t be our last! The lively buzz of Penwortham High Street set the perfect scene for a great night out, and stepping into the restaurant only added to the experience. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, paired with the incredible tapas menu, made it an evening to remember. We couldn’t resist over-ordering because the selection was just that good! The table service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive—ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect night. Highly recommended!
Bread and Butter – PrestonJust had another lovely meal with 3 friends at verdes, the mushroom and Stilton soup was out of this world
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe attended for brunch as a party of 3 with a newborn baby. The food was really good but service was poor, 50 minutes into our meal we were advised "not to rush but we need the table back in 5-10 minutes." This was promptly followed by the waiter attending with a card machine, and then a further waitress coming to the table to ask us to leave. Firstly we booked online and there was no mention of the requirement to vacate the table after less than one hour, secondly we were not advised of this on arrival. This really spoilt our experience unfortunately, as we were hoping for a nice experience and as you can expect being rushed with a newborn is far from ideal. We questioned the hour limit with the waitress and was advised we could sit outside, it was very cold and this is inappropriate with a newborn. Probably wouldn't return.
Bread and Butter – PrestonI booked a table for four on Wednesday of this week and found that the food was excellent, we each had a different dish and all thoroughly enjoyed it. This was my third visit recently (after a long period of not visiting) with different people and on each occasion the food and service have been first class.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyOur 3rd visit to Brizola, it had been a little while since our last time and we had forgotten just how good the food here is. Really welcoming and the service is spot on, not rushed in any way and ever so polite. Down to the nitty gritty the food, I honestly believe the meals are better than ever, so tasty and portions are spot on. We will return for certain, a little hidden gem we'll worth the visit. Thank you.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeFood is absolutely delicious and really reasonably priced. A great place to eat in Penwortham.
