Wagon and Horses – LancasterFamily meal on Saturday night to celebrate my retirement. We all agreed it was the best night out we've had for a long time. We have watched the place being transformed and anticipated your opening and we are not disappointed. Amazing job! Food was excellent, ambience excellent with the bonus of live singer and dancing later. Service good to say its such early days. Well done Dan and team. We will certainly be back. Thank you for making our night so special
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenWent for lunch for a very first time with a friend. The atmosphere was cozy and nice. The food was superb, the staff were very friendly and professional. Would visit again.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallBooked in for Saturday night the restaurant was very busy, we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. The atmosphere was great, the service was great. The staff were friendly and polite and they looked after us well. The food is out of this world it’s absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going again.

Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe came for Sunday lunch and managed to sit out in the lovely garden, the food was amazing will definitely go again, the atmosphere was great and the landlord is very funny, both landlord and landlady (Lee and Becky i think!) are lovely and very approachable, nothing bad to say at all, great place for food and drinks.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWe went for a family meal on Sunday, it was fantastic, the service was brilliant all of the staff were attentive and so lovely! The food was very tasty and the cocktails were great! We will definitely be visiting again.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenNice big Sunday dinner followed by a lovely lemon posset zinging with freshness and flavour…the pub is spacious and relaxed and the service is friendly and attentive…all at a v reasonable price … what’s not to like?
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleLovely setting and the restaurant is very stylish. The young girls waiting on were very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the meal I wanted "Pie" they had run out of which was dissapointing at only 7:30 in the evening. In the end we all ordered the Sunday roast and have to say it was excellent. Only the potatoes seemed to have been re-heated a few times and had become hard and dry. It wouldn't stop us visiting again because we all enjoyed ourselves, but there is just some room for improvement.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWent here for a meal on the recommendation of a friend. We had a fantastic meal. The pizzas were amazing and the staff lovely. The restaurant was both spacious and cosy. I will be back.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenService and food were excellent. Sunday roast was lovely.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAbsolutely amazing meal and service. The staff were attentive and the food top notch. Franco and the team made time with friends a wonderful evening.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyMy partner and I went for Sunday lunch yesterday. Agree with everything that other reviewers say about the food and the venue. Both are amazing. Although we enjoyed the food, we didn’t enjoy the overall dining experience as much. The volume of the house music was over-powering for those who wish to enjoy a gorgeous Sunday lunch in relative peace and quiet. It should be background – not foreground. And to add to the discomfort, all the tracks were of a disco and heavy beat genre which doesn’t contribute to what should be a relaxing, chilled-out experience. We were seated in what appears to be a conservatory extension with a large skylight which not only floods the room with light, but also sunshine. My partner was uncomfortably hot throughout our meal with the sun directly beating down on him . We will book for the restaurant area next time. Something needs to done about the small army of flies which constantly sought to share our food. The cutlery was difficult to grasp for those of us with dexterity issues. The handles were almost as thin as straws. Although all this sounds rather negative, it does require some attention, but don’t let it put you off going. The quality of the food is not to be missed. We will definitely be back, but will wait awhile in the hope and expectation that the owners read the reviews and make the necessary adjustments.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenTfM is our favourite place to eat, hands down. Gorgeous cosy atmosphere and always a warm welcome. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. Great and varied options for vegetarians too. Exceptional value for money and just an all round lovely eatery. Highly recommended, you won’t regret it.
