The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat food, amazing, friendly service and very accommodating, would recommend
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyFor the first time in more than a year, we booked a table at 6pm last Saturday to enjoy an evening meal. We were made very welcome, and as one of us is wheelchair-bound, we were given a table on the level floor. Our meal was excellent, we each had three courses and a couple of drinks, and the price was very reasonable. The girls serving us were friendly, helpful and hard working. We hope to return soon !
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleCame on Sunday, it was freezing cold outside, but really warm and inviting inside the pub! Warm and friendly service and the food was outstanding, especially the pies and nut roast!! We will be back.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenFood was excellent as always and great service too, a really great experience and well recommended
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFabulous meal - love meat ball starter. Beautiful pizzas. Please don’t close down so sad it’s being sold.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenFood and service is always outstanding here. Beautiful restaurant, nothing to much trouble for them. My favourite restaurant in West Lancs, always book ahead though as demand for a table is very high. Great prices too.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAnother fabulous lunch yesterday at B&B. Four of us ordering four different dishes that looked like they had come direct from a glossy magazine, it was a real shame to eat it, but still delicious. This is the go to place in Preston!
Bread and Butter – PrestonBooked for a birthday lunch on the 17th January. It's been several years since last at the Sheperds and I'm sorry to say it'll be a few years before we venture back. The 2 men on duty were nice and obliging but the food wasn't up to much. Its a shame spectacular position and at least the Sticky Toffee pudding was good.....saving grace.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenI took my best friend for brunch yesterday.. the food was amazing, fresh and tasty.. the staff were friendly and helpful.. would definitely recommend..
Bread and Butter – PrestonQuattros food and service never disappoints My daughter and zI had a lovely night on Thursday
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent food and service as always. Brilliant atmosphere.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallLunch at Quattros. Food excellent and very attentive staff
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe used to come all the time but have moved away so haven’t been for a while and it say wasn’t as good at all de service to the food Most of the pizzas / garlic bread where dry and burnt Food came out with 2 missing and a wait Drinks order from the table took a while It was a Thursday night so not your busiest time Disappointing I’m afraid for our table of 8
Papa Luigis – ChorleyAmazing and very tasty foods as always and great staff too.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWent to Bread and Butter on Wednesday evening for their 2 for £10 tapas. It was just wonderful. Lovely delicious food in a great setting and Dan’s service was exceptional. Can highly recommend and we will be back.
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe food and service was exceptional. We eat alot on the curry mile in Manchester. Lets just say the Sultan of Lancaster is very understated. Excellent food and spices , will go again.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterVery disappointed in last night's meal. It was a special occasion for 2 of our party and certainly did not live up to reviews and recommendations. The main meals arrived together with one of our parties starter so she had no choice but to eat together as all the other mains had arrived. Obviously a mix up but no apology or explanation given. The pies quite clearly are bought in and are NOT made on site. I challenge the chef to demonstrate him making the pies as I know which company they are from as I have had them regularly and even had a couple in my freezer!! The chips were far too thick and most of us couldn't eat them. Then the deserts came and only one of our party enjoyed theirs - the others leaving them as didnt taste good. Tea and coffee were a disaster- no tea pots and no milk came after asking staff several times. All in all a very disappointing experience not to be repeated. The restaurant and decor are stunning but disappointingly do not reflect in the food. We were all so looking forward to this and we're bitterly disappointed. In my opinion definitely one to give a miss!!
