The Waterwitch – LancasterVisited Saturday the 9/11/24. Visiting family in Padiham and burnley. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Very clean. Reasonable prices value for money. Food was delicious I had the poy boy sandwich ate every morsel tasty and filling. We had 3 kids meals which were enjoyed. There were 6 of us in total and all enjoyed our meals. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definately be back when we visit again.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyExcellent food and first class welcome and service
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyFood and service always consistent and very good here. Just stopped by for a quick lunch and were in and out in just over an hour which is what we wanted. We think this place is becoming a little bit of a hidden gem, slightly off peoples radar in the Ribble Valley but easily up with it's peers in the area. We have visited 3 times in the past 6 weeks after not going for 18 months.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeFood was spectacular, as was the service and setting. We had a family birthday celebration and an age range from 3 to 91years and everyone loved the occasion, even though it was quiet because of the time of day that we came and that there was to have been a 'Taster Dinner Event' later that night. Thank you so much CDJ. Memorable experience! There may be other restaurants just as good as this one but I can assure you there are none better!
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenAnother lovely meal
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe came for breakfast on Sunday and it was spot on. I had the B&B Breakfast Bagel and my husband had the salmon and eggs on sour dough. Both were piping hot, presented lovely and tasted devine! Lovely atmosphere in the spotlessly clean restaurant with lovely relaxed service and attentive friendly staff.
Bread and Butter – PrestonExcellent food served by great staff. They could not have been more helpful. I will definitely be going again.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe came for breakfast and it was delicious. Quick and yummy would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Bread and Butter – PrestonSaw this restaurant in the magazine Live Ribble Valley so thought we would try it. Mum and I had the 2 course lunch menu and were very pleased with the food. We will certainly be going back.
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenExcellent food , service and price
The Traders Arms – BlackburnWe booked for our twins 18th Birthday. We couldn't be happier with the meal and service, thank you!!!!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent breakfast yesterday. Friendly service, local produce and delicious dishes. Consistently excellent.
Bread and Butter – PrestonI’ve pretty much tried every menu here and without a doubt the Sunday dinner 3 courses is our favourite. Value for money and very tasty. I ordered the beef dinner and although the beef is cooked just how I like it I would probably say you need to ask for it to be cooked to your own liking otherwise it may be a little too rare. The decor the service and location is excellent. We’ve tried the steak night too which is also good value and the bar menu and the tapas. If going for tapas I would order at least 5 dishes between two and go from there. The desserts are delicious so make sure you squeeze one in
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenFood excellent, both main and desert. Sticky toffee pudding had a distinct treacle taste which made this unique and special. However considering it was quiet, the service was not as previously experienced and very slow. The staff were pleasant though, albeit we were kept waiting between giving menus and ordering. Overall though worth it with the excellent food.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe would like to thank the Lunsdale staff for accomodating our family gathering which included 12 adults and 10 children, during a busy Sunday service. All the adults had the 'Sunday roast', which included a choice of beef, lamb, pork and chicken. Everyone said it was one of the best roast dinners they had tasted. Twenty two empty plates went back to the kitchen, that was praise indeed! The staff were helpful and friendly, again thank you!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleLovely attentive staff, delicious food
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWe enjoyed the meal overall but I was disappointed to find that the Monkfish Wellington was also wrapped In meat. The menu needs to be clearer as I felt this was too stodgy with pastry and a pancake and meat with little fish (for a non meat eater ) My husband had beef which was nice but no horseradish Also the coffee machine wasn’t working so not available either !
