First time visit,so glad we made the decision to try from entering into the restaurant to leaving everything was first class.We were celebrating a birthday and loved the atmosphere. The food was amazing nothing was left will definitely be booking again.

Visited CDJ to celebrate our recent wedding and it was superb! Exceeded expectations. We were seated at the chef’s table and thoroughly enjoyed watching the kitchen team in action. Service was seamless and the restaurant is stunning. Every little detail has been thought out and executed perfectly. Had a mixture of dishes, each one was delicious and you can tell how much thought and creativity has gone into each plate. Would highly recommend to anyone and we’ll definitely be back again. Thanks again chef for a great night.

The chicken thighs were absolutely incredible! You never disappoint, great food and great service. Lovely young waitress last night, she was so observant and switched on.

We have visited a few times now and have never been disappointed. The staff here are excellent, very helpful and engaging and nothing is too much trouble from the landlady right through to the young waitresses, which says a lot for the training that the landlady gives them. In terms of the food, again it’s always been excellent, there is plenty of choice on the menu and nothing is a problem if you want to slightly alter something. We had visited a couple of times midweek but wanted to try the Sunday lunch and we weren’t disappointed, perfectly pink roast beef with lovely veg and no problem if you wanted more gravy! Value for money is also excellent. We have plenty of good eating places where we live in Hoghton but we are happy to travel the 15-20 minutes to visit The Traders as it’s always a great experience

Food, excellent as ever, service as good as ever, dishwasher as gorgeous as ever.

Such a shame been quite a few times n everything was really good. Decided to take friends who had not been before n they were so disappointed. 1 starter was not written down n then when it came wasn't very good. Yorkshire pudding was like a cheap supermarket own one not what was expected then bill was done wrong twice.

We had delicious meals and the service was fantastic. The staff very attentive and helpful as I am on crutches at the moment and needed a nearby table. The guy in charge (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) was extremely helpful. We often go to Quattros and would recommend to anyone.

As always fantastic food and service. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment as all times are popular! And rightly so. For those with smaller appetites left overs are happily boxed.

Hands down the best food I have ever had. Absolutely incredible. The whole experience was top notch, the service, the atmosphere,the decor... Would recommend to anyone, will definitely be revisiting and bringing along family and friends. CDJ should be proud of himself.

Been dining at Papas for twenty odd years and it's still the best Italian Restaurant around!

We enjoyed our visit very much, had the tapas, the misto fritto was lovely. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Even better if they could offer some more adventurous beer choices, wine was good.

Decent food, unfortunately the service was disappointing. The initial greeter was great, but the next waitress (think she was fairly new but should have been trained properly?) didn't ask how I wanted my steak cooked, didn't ask if I wanted a sauce with it, and when we asked a couple of questions about the desserts, asked us if we wanted her to go and find out! I also had to go and find someone when we wanted to order the desserts as no one came after we had finished our main meals. As stated, the food was really nice but the lack of attentiveness in the waiting on let the place down.

The restaurant is stunning, the staff are all lovely and helpful. We sat at the chefs table which was amazing as you get to see the kitchen in full flow, chef Dan was very attentive and explained how they put the menu together and all my questions were answered, all our dishes were amazing and cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back

Lovely meal - really tasty food & reasonably priced Usual quality night - we loved it as always

Sat night booking, no specials offered, no steak pie. Award winning in what year? Continental cuisine, was that just peri peri kebab and ceasur salad or pizza. Had the gammon, was tough and chewy, fish and chips was really greasy, left a puddle of oil on plate. Was not asked if everything ok when plates cleared, only when we paid the bill. Informed young man at that time. We were looking forward to a lovely sat night meal but food was worse that Witherspoon's. Sorry but will not be dining again. It was a lovely warm eve at 8 pm and only 3 sets of people eating, should have told us something.

Disappointed. Steak options on Saturday for £30+ not good, no filet option? Chunky chips were be very soggy. To top this off, after 50mins the waiter said he needed the table back in 10 mins!!!! We have never been treated so poorly.
