We visited on Saturday night, the service was brilliant, soon after being seated we ordered drinks and then food only a few minutes later. We chose several dishes from the tapas menu, the food service was very prompt, we waited maybe only 5-10 minutes before our first items arrived and every item was delicious! The sweet potato fries were exceptional, many places that serve sweet potato fries in my experience often get them wrong but these were spot on. They were hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. When we had finished we sat outside in the sun for another drink before settling our very reasonable bill, and then headed into penwortham to continue our evening. We will 100% be coming back again!

I visited brizola for the first time this weekend and it was amazing. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was the best I’ve ever had, I cannot believe I’ve not been before. I had the halloumi and bean stifado and the flavours were unbelievable… it was delicious. I will be back.

We love dining at the hapton inn. Food, as always was delicious . Good service. Lovely people that run it.

An absolutely fabulous meal. My husband had the pie of the day which was game pie and it was delicious - stuffed with meat in a lovely gravy. We started with a scotch egg which was cooked to perfection and the chicken liver paté. To be honest, I was pretty full after eating the paté which was served with a small salad and an onion compote. I only managed to eat half my fish despite it being medium in size as the portions here are very generous so come hungry. We've lunched here a few times now and the food is consistently good using fresh ingredients. Can thoroughly recommend eating here.

Perfect. We booked for 8 but arrived with more and were accommodated without iissue.lpvely inside and out, cracking beer garden alongside the canal. Would recommend. The lady who served us was lovely too.

Booked a table for two on the Wednesday steak and date night. Two steaks and a bottle of wine for £40. We chose to have one portion of veg to share with it. The food was amazing, so tasty, presentation was fantastic. The staff were brilliant, very attentive, and a fabulous ambience. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and have booked to go again. First class in evey aspect. Would highly recommend.

Went on a Wednesday evening. Both has pizza. Very well cooked, tasted great. Both had a sweet which again was excellent. Good value, good atmosphere, very good staff.

Once again a lovely meal i will get past the steak and ale pie one of these nights, great pint of Wainwright's give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing food, beautiful restaurant and gorgeous outdoor scenery. The kindest staff you ever did get to order from... very helpful and informative.. Just enjoyed every moment of our visit! Thanks for making our meal so enjoyable x

Went for lunch on a Tuesday, six of us and found every main meal we had excellent and reasonably priced with good service.

Been a few times now, food is excellent and good value for money. Staff friendly and attentive. Our favourite place to eat in the area, much better quality food compared to some larger chains which overcharge and provide mediocre food.

Lovely food. Good value with two courses for £17.95. Service was good. Shame they don't have the lunch time menu on in an evening too as that had lots of variety. Music was a bit loud for a meal and with the restraunt being quiet although Staff did turn down on request agreeing it was a bit loud.

Great food and good value for money, service was polite and efficient, and a good atmosphere. it was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon and had a few cheeky drinks in the new bar upstairs after the meal.
