This was our 5th or 6th time at Shepherds and it was as great as ever. It’s a lovely 45 minute walk from Tod so I feel I’ve earned the steak pie - possibly the best pie & gravy in the world. I always feel drowsy after eating so much and have to have a sticky toffee pudding to give me the energy to walk home!! Great food and great service from really lovely staff

I am always sceptical when I see young staff, however, it is clear that excellent training is given to them. Our staff member for the evening, Ruby, was attentive without being intrusive and nothing was a problem for her. We will return. Definitely best food/service in Lancs.
