Food is delicious, always hot and freshly cooked to your liking. The steak night menu is amazing value for money, i had the rump steak and it was cooked to perfection. The service is always excellent and the staff are very friendly, the owner always makes time to have a chat which is nice. We have been going to the Cosmopolitan for over ten years now and have always found the food and service to be consistantly of a very high standard. Highly recommended!

We've not been since the end of the Covid lockdowns, so were surprised to see the new layout. The food was as delicious as it was before the epidemic, and the staff were brilliant.

Excellent food as always. It's so fresh, healthy and great value for money. Staff are always polite, professional and really friendly, even when they are exceptionally busy.

Excellent as always. All the group are dairy-intolerant and one is also gluten intolerant. There was a great choice of food and even a cake which could be eaten by all. The tea is always great value and the smoothie was delicious.

Shepherd’s Rest is our go-to place for special meals and it’s always great. Mshame there was only 1 beef & onion pie left, but the fish & chips was great so all is forgiven. Great food, lovely staff and beautiful views. Can’t wait for next time

I can not fault the food it was amazing. We got the chefs special! However the service we received wasn’t the best. I’d booked a table for 2 and when we arrived we was seated. I felt very rushed to order as the person serving us was just stood over us. I was then left with no napkin or fork/ knife and when asked for one it was like it was a problem. I must say the first time we came it was amazing hench why we came back yesterday for my partners birthday.

The Sunday roast we had was perfect, good helping size, and tasty. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Most enjoyable meal. Would recommend.

Sunday Dinner once again didnt fail to deliver, good portion sizes, piping hot , great tasting food , atmosphere cool and calm , chef Ryan always comes out to see how the food was and speaks to all his customers. My once a month treat coming here with the good wife

My wife and I went to celabrate her birthday. Food. all three courses superbly cooked,presented and delivery was timed to perfection The atmosphere was great for a Sunday evening. Every member of staff were smartly dressed,well mannered and extremely efficient We have been here many times and have failed to find fault ever Thanks for a lovely evening See you soon with the rest of the family
