We had the pleasure of Sarah and the team providing us with stunning outside catering choices and a birthday cake for my daughters 21st birthday on 19/09! As with every order with Bees country kitchen...their food is delicious, excellent customer service and contact impeccable. I will be returning again and again and again! If you haven't already eaten at Bees or enjoyed their outside catering I encourage you to do so! You are missing out!

First time here and would thoroughly recommend. Food and service was fab. You can book online so everything was easy. Will be back.

Fantastic as always. One of the last places around you can guarantee a great meal every visit.

Sat by the window but unfortunately due to horrendous weather didn't have a good view which I am sure would be stunning on a sunny day .We had the salmon fillet with cabbage and hassleback potatoes. I can't remember what the sauce ,was but it was delicious ( wish I knew recipe) Sticky toffee pudding and ice-cream for pudding ,delicious too.It was a bit of a trek up the narrow roads that we were not sure we were going in right direction but after a chat to some folk we were assured we were heading the right way ,just a little further .Well worth the effort.Bravo

Went on sunday. Booked table online. Unfortunately was told there would be a wait for food , but to wait nearly an hour to me was unacceptable. The food when it arrived was warm not hot. In the past everything has been spot on . Maybe there was a reason for this one off . First poor experience we have had here.

Tapas excellent . Special wines exceptional - Amarone, white Rioja

Great service from the team and a great menu - inside was well presented. Both for formal and informal meal. Pizzas have been delicious on multiple occasions

Recently moved to the area, and so pleased to have found this restaurant on our door step. What a find, great prices, great food with a wide range of choices matched with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Look forward to many more visits.

I've been to the shepherds rest a few times now and everything is outstanding, friendly team ,lovely place and the food is always amazing quality , can't say enough positive things about this place , will be going again very soon

Wonderful birthday lunch yesterday . The Lunesdsle Arms is a favourite of ours and it didn’t fail to live up to expectations yesterday. Food, service and ambience was excellent . We all opted for main course roast , 2 of us had enough room left for a dessert. All very tasty and well presented .

The most amazing meal. I can’t believe we have never been before. I will be going alot from now on. So many delicious things on the menu I want to try. I had pear walnut and Stilton salad followed by Malaysian prawn curry. It was delicious.
