I tried to phone to book for 2 days and nobody answered the phone, so I booked online. When we attended they didn't know about our booking. The table available was dirty and they said they would clean it. After about 15 minutes I went and asked for a cloth and the member of staff came and cleaned it. We didn't receive table service so I ordered at the bar. I then watched as everyone else (even people who came in and ordered after me) were served their food. Just as I was about to speak to the staff about this the food arrived. I had ordered a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw. The cheese had been over melted in the microwave and I received the smallest ramekin of coleslaw I have ever seen. Not a great experience and definitely not like past times when I have been here. Sad!!!! I felt I was in the home of the staff not a pub. This business will fail in this current climate if they don't sort this out in my opinion.
